Our furry nomad Tashi had a scary encounter today. While on his morning walk, he was bitten by a rattlesnake. Thankfully, he received quick and professional care at Circle H Animal Hospital in Blythe, CA, where he was treated with IV anti-venom medication and monitored for the day. Tashi is doing well and will be on antibiotics for two weeks. Due to the medication, he will not be able to go on walks or hikes for at least a week, but he is resting comfortably and slowly returning to his old self.
Tashi happily finished eating his first meal today!
