‼️Public Sneaker Announcement ‼️
Good morning my Sneaker People! It is bright and early on Hump day and it’s been a while since I’ve really posted any PSA’s on sneaker care. Here is Karl, who I am guessing, but not 100% sure, is a sneaker restorer of some sort in his area in the world that got in over his head. Sneaker People, this is why, there is an extra fee when someone brings me someone else’s repair job. Had he taken or sent them to a professional to have this restoration done the correct way with a little work and mink oil. But instead something completely preventable was done. Not that Karl is a bad restorer, cause I don’t think he is, he is just ignorant in working with older vintage Jordans. This is a perfect example of how not to do a resole and I am sharing it with you all as a learning lesson on how to check the knowledge of who you bring you vintage shoes to before sending or leaving them with a sub par sneaker restorer. Now unfortunately to get them fixed the owner will have to find someone to completely have them redone correctly. This post was removed immediately before I could respond to Karl to maybe help him for the next time.

Hey folks I will be going dark for a little bit, I have a lot I have to get through professionally and personally. Okay my SP’s, I got some 💩 on my mind and I feel like this one has never been asked or at least I have not seen it asked. 2 questions for the sneaker community real quick. Why did these become something that my 90 year old grandparents were wearing to something the kid behind me that usually would be in some J’s is wearing some A$$ Fugly New Balances. I thought this was gonna fade out but no this is sticking around like Yeezy’s sooo WTF happened and how do we get rid of these and get them back where they belong, with the really old folks and people with busted a$$ feet’s!
