My time with has sadly come to a close, so here is one last feature to wrap up YEAR 4 of taking grad photos at Virginia Tech… 😢

Drew and I didn’t meet until my last semester of college, but it feels like I’ve known him forever. We were in different a ca****la groups (s/o & ) and instantly got along well when our paths finally crossed. Now, over a year later - he’s my best friend and such an important part of my life!

This guy has been nothing but supportive, kind, genuine, and just awesome. There is never a dull moment with Drew, and it’s such a joy having you in my life.

I’m so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and will continue to do. Much love. 🤍

Another amazing season has come to a close. This spring, I was challenged more than I ever have been before with this business. Starting my full-time job right before taking on the biggest amount of grads I’ve ever done was extremely difficult.

However, each year reminds me again and again why I love what I do. The routine of spending my evenings after work capturing grads, chatting with other photographers at the busy spots, and witnessing galleries come to life is an indescribable feeling. This year was especially special with most of my sessions being with some of my best friends in the world who I experienced college with.

Thank you to the over 60 (🤯) of you who booked me this spring. Y’all are the best. 🧡

Fall and Spring - it will be your time before you know it! Stay tuned for what bookings will look like around August. 👀

It’s only fitting to feature some candids of these goofy fellas. 🫶🏻

I met Casey after he was the first person I messaged trying to find a roommate when I started to consider Virginia Tech as an option. Ethan sadly stole him away as a roommate for freshman year, but when I was looking for housing sophomore year, I saw Casey posted that they were looking for a third roommate and next thing I knew - I was signing a lease with these guys I’ve never met in person before.

Since I knew Casey could sing, I got him to audition for TechNotes and during the spring of freshman year after already signing a lease together - I met him for the first time at callbacks and the rest is history. Sophomore year was a blast living together and having these guys with me throughout college meant the world to me.

Their ability to make me laugh and have a good time, but also push me outside my comfort zone and be a shoulder to cry on is something I have and always will be so grateful for. Life won’t be the same without these two here, but I will forever cherish our incredible memories we’ve shared and will continue to share. ❤️

Some of the best guys I’ve ever known. ❤️

I met Thomas, Kyle, Dawson & Louis at the beginning of my second semester of freshman year when I needed them more than they even knew. We instantly got along so well, and they’ve been by my side ever since.

The past two years I’ve lived with a combination of these guys, and I couldn’t have asked for better roommates and brothers. Through every laugh, cry, tough moment, celebration, and anything in between - they’ve been there for me even when I don’t deserve it. The love from these fellas (just like our love for Cook Out) is unmatched.

A special grad shoot for a special group of guys. I can’t believe this is the end of this chapter (besides Thomas who is stuck with me for another year 😌), but I know y’all will always be there. Much love. 🫶🏻

Another sad senior goodbye… 😔

Ben and I met when he was one of the first people I messaged senior year of high school when trying to find a roommate for freshman year. We didn’t end up rooming together and never really talked freshman year, but we stayed connected on social media.

When sophomore year rolled around, I knew Ben could sing and heavily recruited him to come audition for TechNotes. Almost three years later, we had an unforgettable time in the group, served as President/VP for two years together, and I found one of my best friends ever.

Those who know Ben know that he is hilarious, kind, empathetic, and so many other great qualities. He makes me feel seen, loved, and appreciated, and it’s been such a joy to experience most of college together.

I’m so proud and excited for you to thrive post grad, Ben. We’ll always just be a one text, call, or drive away. 🫶🏻

In prior years, I used to share a post for each session to tell stories and highlight all my clients.

I haven’t had the capacity to keep up recently, but has such a special place in my heart that I want to highlight some of my best friends before commencement. 🎓

Michael and I met when he moved to Virginia during our junior year of high school. I invited the “new kid” to sit with me at lunch, and the rest is history.

It’s hard to find those special people in life who truly and deeply care for you, but he has without a doubt been the kindest and most caring friend I could’ve ever asked for.

Thank you for who you are and the friend you are to me, Michael. So proud of you. 🫶🏻
