🎃 October was full of fun, food, and local tradition! Locals David and Jacob got the ultimate tour of Detroit’s iconic Woodward Dream Cruise, where participants got to show off their hot-rods! The 2024 Quarton Lake Block Party brought everyone together to celebrate the end of summer with cotton candy, bounce houses, and a delicious spread from Crispelli’s. 🍕

We also took a look back at the Quay family’s unique birth announcement, featuring their adorable family of skeletons and vintage stroller. The Reznar’s spooktacular vegan chili was made even more fun in their costume! 👻 And let’s not forget Georgie, the lovable Giant Schnauzer, who stole the show with his playful stomps and sweet nature! 🐾

🍽️ August and September were all about good food, fun, and community vibes! Our residents packed some serious flavor in their recipes, like the Keating’s slow-roasted salmon, Ashley Dickey’s coconut lime chicken, the Reznar’s vegan spaghetti, and the Rapoport’s cheesy bacon tots. Megan Laccino recommended wines to pair with these summer dishes, even one for Matt Adler's unique corn and pesto pizza! 🍷

Beyond the kitchen, the Adult Social and Quarton Lake School food truck events brought the neighborhood together, reminding us how special it is to live here! Randy Foster even shared that the artist behind the downtown Spirit of Detroit statue, Marshall Fredericks, was a local and even lived on his street! And the Talbot family took us through their epic journey across Europe, finishing with an incredible Taylor Swift concert at Wembley Stadium! 🎶

🏒 In July, Conor and Cy made waves at the Grinder Hockey "Cinco De Mayo" Tournament, while the Bogart’s Iceland adventure was truly an experience that scored big.

🌱 Evey inspired us with her speech for the Quarton School "Green Team," and the Quarton Lake Social Club had a fantastic time together.

👑 June was full of magic, creativity, and inspiration. The Reznar-Klix family reminded us that every prince or princess deserves a castle...or at least a trip to the most magical one—while Matt Adler made dining like royalty easy at home with their hummus-crusted salmon recipe.

March brought us stories of family, pets, and community! 🐩 The Rea family shared laughter and love from their adventures across the pond, while Leo Onnie, the cozy Toy Poodle, warmed our hearts.

Local kids Hunter, Connor, Cy, and Katelyn inspired us with their lemonade stand for charity, and Matt Rapoport’s spicy Cajun shrimp recipe left us craving more. 🍤 The Bogarts’ Brooklyn getaway wrapped up the month with city charm and great dining tips.
