Once again…

Humpday..

Time to take a music break and sing your heart out at Endicott Grille’s Wednesday Night Karaoke in Danvers Mass, at 194 Endicott Street from 8 – 11.

A welcoming atmosphere with good drink, good food, great staff and a fun group of regular singers and bar crowd overall.

We have had many special nights for the first six months of 2024, and they only keep getting better. Great song choices, and a wide variety of genres sung by many different ages – and some mind-blowing voices, but more importantly; people enjoying the songs they are singing and sharing with the rest of us.

This past weekend was jam packed with non-stop singers both Saturday and Sunday nights. Highlights to come soon!

S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y Night… from the Bay City Rollers song Saturday night, one of many songs written about Saturdays and Saturday “nights.” Can you name several others? Would you like to sing and share some of these songs, or maybe you have a song about another day of the week?

E-N-D-I-C-O-T-T Grille is the place to be tonight June 22 from 9 – 12:30.

Great singers, great staff, good food and drink, and a nice dry location inside, out of the rain!

We are now into Summer, so let’s kick it off with some upbeat Karaoke and time spent making new friends!

“Right now, she's probably up singing some White-trash version of Shania karaoke…” does this sound familiar? One of the most popular lines from one of the most popular female vocalist songs that is sung often, and no one ever seems to get tired of it. Yay!

What is your popular and favorite song to sing? What is a familiar tune you enjoy sharing with the rest of us? Or perhaps you would like to share a song that is rare and seldom sun at Karaoke Venues….

Either way, come on out to the Ginger this weekend in Salem Mass for one or two nights if fun and music sharing among many Karaoke Folks – like being part of a family. Poster and pictures below.

Last Friday night we kept things moving and got tons of singer up many times to share their choices. Starting with Shawn with “Bad Fish” by Sublime, a rare song which was appreciated by many. Miguel came by early and his first selection was “Piano Man” which went off very well, and people did join in on the chorus and even some verses! Tamia and Savannah sang Katy Perry’s “California Girls” as we celebrated Tamia’s Birthday as well! Making sure the entire bar sang the traditional song wishing her a Happy Birthday! The show tune of the evening was “Say No To This” from Hamilton, and sung by Maddi & Juliet. We look forward to everyone who sang this night to come back again and share even more!

Saturday night had Sydney singing, as she shared Jelly Roll’s “Save Me.” Branigan once again hit a home run with her rendition of “Back To Black.” Rich stepped up with the Marilynn Manson’s “Tainted Love.” And Laura pleased the crowd with “Young Hearts Run Free” by Candi Staton. Thanks to all of you and many others for bringing this evening to life and creating once again a great atmosphere! Chris looks forward to seeing you all as often as you desire to stop by and sing your hearts out!

Karaoke Night on ”HUMPPPP DAY” at the Endicott Grille – 194 Endicott Grille in Danvers Mass, from 8 – 11.

Have a favorite One Hit Wonder song? Have a Favorite song to dedicate to Dad, even though Father’s Day has passed? Have other suggestions for themes we can play around with? Let me know!

This past weekend we had a blast!!!

Starting with Saturday night when some newcomers came around and checked us out and had a fun time for themselves. First there was Maureen who sang “Without Me” and with her second-round choice she was joined by Gianna for Rihanna’s “Umbrella.” Her group enjoyed their food and the sun time we were having with all the singers, and we look forward their next visit! George also stopped in to lead us in “Sweet Caroline” and Billy Joel’s “You May Be Right.” One of the highlights of that night was Nick and his rendition and hard driving Blues Brothers “Soul Man.”

Sunday night a few of our “now and then” regulars were with us, so some great strong vocals from Karman (“Imagine” by John Lennon) and Joann with a cool rendition of the Animals “House Of The Rising Sun.” I am enjoying more and more females singing this particular oldy! Isabella, who I have written about before, was not feeling well – but you could not tell at first as she sounded great with Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl” and “Stay” by Rihanna.

As always – so many others having so much fun and sounding good each night!

Karaoke at the Ginger Cajun/Seafood & Asian Fusion restaurant!
Fridays and Saturdays from 9 – midnight. 3 solid hours of nonstop singers and great camaraderie amongst very good-natured people from all walks of life, ages and even singing styles. We are a Karaoke Family of encouragers and more. Every week seems to grow stronger.
Highlights from last weekend:
First of all, Friday some of our weekly friends exchanged songs they normally sing with another… So, it was cool to hear Ally sing “Call And Answer” by The Bare Naked Ladies – which was swapped with Tynkerbelle who sang “Seven Nation Army.” What a great Theme we can consider for the future, like a Swap Night, or maybe a wheel of songs? Let me know what you think.
Secondly, some new voices included Izzy with “Edge Of Seventeen” which she delivered with intense emotion. Bethany with an upbeat and got the crowd dancing with “Born This Way.” Becky brought us one new show/movie tune from Hunchback, the song “Out There.” Another new song for us, from The Color Purple was “I’m Here” sung by Emily.
On Saturday night our own Pink came forward to sing “Drops Of Jupiter” which was done well, and not often heard in Karaoke venues – thank you Pink! Also rarely heard on the circuit was Charles giving us Blink 182’s “What’s My Age Again?”
Others who pleased the crowd on this evening were Jeff P our resident hard rocker with “Rebel Yell.” Rich with the all-time movie song, remembered by many generations “Don’t You Forget About Me.” Panda is now going beyond “Welcome To The Internet” and now adding “Beneath The Brine” and others.

Midweek otherwise known as “Humpday” is here… Wednesday evening and time to sing your troubles away at Endicott Grilles Karaoke Night! (8 – 11)

Sunday night, even though we got started late due to the Celtics Game – we did have talented folks come by. Young Will was amazingly strong with his vocal abilities, as was our own Cat! Epic Gary joined us for a fun tune as well.

We had visitors from Georgia, none of the group of men were brave enough to try and sing – but we were very happy to have hosted them for the evening as they made for great conversation about the sport of basketball.

The Celtics Game will be on, and we can enjoy while singing Karaoke, but the number at the bar for either will most likely dictate how soon we start the music.

Anyway, the E G is a great place to hang out either way – with it’s great staff, food and drink.

If you do stop by to sing, the suggested theme we will again attempt shall be “One Hit Wonders Wednesdays.” Otherwise come with your favorites as always.

Then we will be back Saturday night 9 - 12:30, as well as Sunday 8 - 11.

It’s Sunday night already, and some are getting ready for a full week, and some of you still did not get your Karaoke “Fix” yet.

Endicott Grille will be hosting 8 – 11, with no word on delays because of the Celtics game. The game will be on, for all to watch either way!

I will be brief on my highlights from last night, Saturday June 8th. As we had a comfortable size crowd and many good and fun singers.

Gary keeps bringing it hard with his Led Zeppelin songs, and then topped it off last night with The Honey Drippers’ “Rockin’ at Midnight” – which is a great swing style dance tune. D-Mo was on fire all night with a few country songs and covering Cat Steven’s “Father & Son.”

We had several newcomers: DJ Danny and one member of his entourage (LOL) Jacob came forward to sing. Danny did a few including a strong Elvis vocal on “Can’t Help Fallin In Love” while Jacob was outgoing and personable, with one of his choices being Van Morrison’s “Moondace.”

The female who aced her songs all night long was Kelly, and we definitely hope she returns to enjoy our family. She was with us all night and got 6 songs in, with one of them being The Beatles’ “Oh Darling” – and made it her own female version. She was strong with an Adele song and one of my favorites that some of the ladies sing “Back To Black” by Amy Winehouse. Good going Kelly!

So, tonight sing your heart out and leave all your “crap” outdoors for the moment and get into a nice mindset for your week to come.

Spring is here, great weather and nice nights to get out and about. If Karaoke is your desire as the evening flows forward into nighttime, then consider hanging out and singing with us at the Endicott Grille.

Whether it be your first visit with us or your 20th, or anywhere in between, stop in from 9 – 12:30 and share your favorite songs! Enjoy the crowd, the food, the drink and welcoming staff.

Tonight, Saturday June 8th, DJ Pete will be hosting the fun times and getting you to sing as much as you would like with a solid and fair rotation for everyone. With minimal down time between singers, the flow just seems to work well – no matter if the Genre styles vary from one to another. An enjoyable atmosphere is what we create each week – and we love all our newcomers.

Highlights from this past Wednesday include:

6 of our regulars and 2 new voices made for a non-stop night of so many types of songs and some new artists. For example Karen and Carol Anne joined us as guests of Chet. Carol Anne started with two songs from Michael Buble, then went on to sing Faith Hill and “Shoot Tequila” by Tigirlily Gold. While Karen introduced us to two new songs, one being an international vocalist Melody Gardot and the song “Heart As Black As Night.” Also, a song from LBT I had never heard before called “Pontoon.” Both ladies sang very well, and we look forward to their return.

Dan, who is a steady Wednesday night singer, was in the mood for Billy Joel with 3 songs by this artist, and he even attempted “We Didn’t Start The Fire.” Not half bad for his first attempt. I mentioned Chet, above, who is a crooner and sang a couple Stapleton songs and dusted off a silly and fun old but goody – “Battle Of New Orleans.” Thanks to all who were there.

Endicott Grille added and welcomed Lisa to the staff a few weeks back and more recently Gisella! The service remains top notch, and it is an honor to work alongside these folks.

Another week is winding down, and maybe it is time to get your karaoke fix.

So many places to choose from, and time to think about going to your regular venue or trying a new one. The nice thing about this music activity is that it is so versatile and different at each location, and from one DJ/KJ to another.

I feel honored and privileged to serve so many great people as a DJ and KJ on these events. Thank you to all who have come by and enjoyed an evening at any of my locations, but this week a special thanks to my Ginger family! You have all welcomed both DJ Chris B and me and we are excited to encourage you to sing each week.

Creating a comfortable and social atmosphere is also important to me – and I have seen a great change in how people of all ages get along so well, a big difference from 15 years ago. All types of ages, backgrounds and more, making for a peaceful feeling throughout each evening, while “rocking it.”

Last weekend was super busy for me, so no highlights this week – However, DJ Chris B reports both Friday and Saturday nights were full and as fun and upbeat as usual. I will include some general pics of some of our crowds. Otherwise, all the info is on the poster below, and the invite is wide open at any time to stop on by.

TONIGHT!

Karaoke this week at the Endicott Grille starts on Wednesday June 5, followed by Saturday 6/8 and Sunday 6/9. Yes, June 2024 is here already, can you believe it?

We have been enjoying so many great Karaoke nights at E G, that time is flying by. So many new faces every week, people visiting from many non-North Shore Communities and from other states even.

It’s true!

We had a young lady who joined us from Naples Florida back in January, hearing about E G thru North Shore Karaoke Facebook Group. Last Fall two friends visiting from Seatle Washington stopped by on a Sunday night, because they saw in the EG FB page that Karaoke was being offered. Then just a few weeks back, if you saw one of my posts, a Men’s College Rugby team from Minnesota also came in, once they found we had Karaoke going on (also on a Sunday night). There are many other great stories I have been posting in my highlights, and some I could not share because of time.

Most recent weeks had us celebrating birthdays for some of our regulars like Cat, as she turned 23 on Wed May 22. Then on Sat 5/25 a newcomer Maria joined us for her Birthday and sang 3 – 4 songs including “Ironic” and “Don’t Stop Believing.” Then her friend Becky joined her for “Shallow.” They stayed all night and we hope to see them back again in the future!

There is plenty more to share, since those two dates, but time only allows for so many highlights. If you have yet to experience the social atmosphere at the Endicott Grille, there are three options each week – Poster below.
