“Community” Green House Garden anyone?
It get’s too cold outside in the winter up here so we need a year round survival garden for local community members to volunteer different days etc as well to help maintain the community garden
The markets get over ran by tourists and this is a tourist town, so if we want to survive?
we must work together and set aside all and any differences and work together to make a better living situation for the locals that are left.
We have seen what’s happening up here over the past 3 years, inflation and overpriced unhealthy foods.
It is time to see just how many of us can come together and make that difference together.
If you have a large green house and or have an area where we can set up one without violating any of the many county ordinances we have to comply with.
Bear city and other areas that are unincorporated will be the best areas.

All roads are closed in bound and out bound to big bear valley especially to non residents
Local residents with ID can get up the mountain on Highway 18 only going through Lucerne Valley to big bear. You can also get down this way, but check the road conditions first please there is very dangerous conditions existing still up here. 
we are also going through a fuel prices. There is absolutely no fuel in big Bear Valley, there is limited supplies at the grocery stores unfortunately, no food trucks and no fuel trucks can get up here at the moment the roads are still too dangerous to let them up according to CHP and Caltrans.
if you don’t need to go anywhere today stay home until we know that there’s food and fuel trucks coming up. I will update this post as soon as I know, in the meantime, stay home, stay warm, sharing is caring. Have a blessed day
