Carnival Comics is proud to announce that Herk Harvey's is under our big-top and is published as an eBook for the first time ever! Michael H. Price's acclaimed graphic-novel adaptation of the classic indie chiller-film is back in print!

Originally commissioned by filmmaker Herk Harvey to mark the reissue of his 1962 CARNIVAL OF SOULS Cult Classic Movie, Price's graphic-novel version (with co-illustrator Todd Camp) has taken on a life of its own, anchoring this anthology of Price & Camp's comics-studio work from the 1990s to the present day.

Carnival Comics Co-owner Sharon Barnes says, "It is an honor to partner with Michael H. Price to bring this amazing graphic novel under our Carnival Of Souls brand. The history of what Herk Harvey achieved with his cult classic will now be available to a whole new audience of readers for the first time." "Good to put this one into play for a definitive new edition," adds Price, whose Cremo Studios had launched the first edition of Herk Harvey's Carnival of Souls in 1991 -- then added a spinoff book, Holiday for Screams, in 1992. Holiday for Screams' essential contents also are featured in the new Carnival Comics edition of Herk Harvey's Carnival Of Souls, along with Price's distinctive restorations of several Ghost Gallery stories from the 1940s. He knew of my Carnival of Souls comic series and CD, so he asked if I would be interested in doing a song for the VV cd. I was honored. Then, he said I had a week to do it. So I got back to LA and knocked it out in a few days. (This is the mix I loved best.)

A.J. who I knew as CC... was a great guy who had a ton of passion and a fire for life. I love the energy he had, and for him, I want to share this song which was a project that he made happen."

From Jazan Wild, "When I was 7 or 8 years old I got a Kiss Comic Book with blood in the ink published by Marvel. Inside was this picture of the band and Stan Lee... the perfect mix of Rock N Roll and Comics.
That book changed my life.

Years later I would make comics that mix with music, as well as start my own Comic Book company alongside Sharon Levesque Barnes, called CARNIVAL COMICS. To trace things back in time, one can say without Stan I would not have the life I have today. Stan Lee was a dreamer who changed the entire world. And mine as well. I met him and got that very book signed. Thank you Mr. Lee for dreaming big. Excelsior!
