Our Story
Rio Vista Universal is a Media Company at the crossroads of technology and entertainment dedicated to providing quality content and services in tech, film, television, games, virtual reality, social media, publishing, distribution, and public relations. Founded in 2008 by James Ganiere who’s offices have resided on the lot of Raleigh Studio in Manhattan Beach now Manhattan Beach Studios, Hollywood Center Studios now Sunset Las Palmas Studios and currently in Beverly Hills. The company launched with unscripted series like Back from the Dead, Nitro Jam and Gear Heads on Discovery. Recently it partnered with The Jim Henson Company for the Farscape 20th Anniversary at San Diego Comic Con. During the historic panel 700 fans had to be turned away after hitting fire code capacity, Brian Henson announced there is more Farscape to come.
