The 29th annual Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance transformed the iconic Rodeo Drive into a showcase of stunning classic and contemporary vehicles, detouring traffic and captivating the hearts of car enthusiasts and families alike.
This year's event was more than just a car show - it was a celebration of drive, knowledge, and community. The event featured an impressive display of rare and historic cars, alongside cutting-edge modern vehicles, showcasing the evolution of automotive innovation and design. The Netflix film "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F" hosted an interactive display, while the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix featured 2024 F1 show cars, further electrifying the atmosphere. As attendees strolled along Rodeo Drive, they felt grateful to be part of this vibrant community, where passion and innovation came together. The event proved to be the perfect way to celebrate Father's Day, with families and friends of all ages marveling at the beauty and craftsmanship of the vehicles on display. Glenn A. Gordon once again pushed the boundaries of what's possible, capturing a stunning image of a dragon-shaped wave completed with a fiery "tongue" and "exhaling fire" glistening in the sunlight at Manhattan Beach This latest feat is just the latest in a long line of impossible shots that Gordon has captured over the years. The dragon-shaped photograph is available for viewing and open for bidding.

ABOUT ARTIST: Gordon's love affair with photography began when he was just a boy growing up in Los Angeles, armed with an inexpensive Kodak Instamatic. From snapping drag races at Irwindale to becoming a sought-after professional, Gordon has spent over fifty years honing his craft. His photos have been exhibited, sold privately, and featured in company websites, magazine advertisements, and articles, as well as National Geographic – a highlight of his career. But Gordon's creative pursuits don't stop there. He also kicked off his radio broadcasting career in 1977 and has worked in multiple stations and production companies in California. To this day, he still occasionally produces shows for K-Jazz 88.1 in LA. As a photographer, Gordon is always on the lookout for something unique and original. He prides himself on being aware of his surroundings, seeking to capture something wonderful. His fine art photography has taken him to incredible locations, from Nazare's waves to ancient cities, and has introduced him to fellow photographers and experiences he never thought possible. Gordon's images are diverse – color or black and white, landscape or seascape, surfers or hawks – but they all share a common thread: capturing a moment in time that tells a story. With a camera always in hand, Gordon has found a constant in his life, and he wouldn't have it any other way. It's a passion that has brought him to where he is today, and he continues to seek out new moments to capture every day.

Art in the digital age must embrace the vast universe of images and styles now available to us. It must also acknowledge the vast array of tools we now have to invent and modify those images and styles. Today’s street art seems even readier than today’s studio art to create a new artistic ideology, a new view of art itself. And an artist like Brandon the wizard has already brought the street-art aesthetic – ethos, even – back inside the artistic workplace. Fanciful and heraldic, narrative and abstract, futurist and surrealist and expressionist, Brandon’s art knowingly melds high art and low, entertainment stylizations and intellectual propositions, recognizable objects and psychedelic distortions into a screen-size surge of pan-pictorial pandemonium, a movie of an opera about a dream, a dream any of us could dream but haven’t.
The immanent glow buzzing through Brandon’s apparitions recalls both the big bang that birthed the cosmos and the radiance that has energized art for almost two centuries, ever since the camera relieved the paintbrush of its pictorial responsibilities and allowed art making to be about light and color and contour and rhythm – not the story, but the feeling. Brandon’s wizardry takes us through the canvas, through the keyboard, and into the collective mindstream.

Scotch Hopkins is a man of many hands and of many appearances. For one line of work he must reinvent himself every day. For another, he must be ready to crisis-solve at every moment. For yet another he must create and re-create a visual language that changes all of a sudden, like some fast-moving inner city patois. Well, maybe it is. Hopkins’ visual art evinces a sense of formal and symbolic complexity - one that in its expansive and indulgent color and familiar themes eases its way reassuringly into your consciousness. The stories he tells and the characters he conjures are recognizable from contemporary life, indeed from our shared imagination; and from that adolescent street-tagger ethos comes a comfort with crudity, or at least with the direct, unsophisticated gruffness that demarcates today’s cultural loci. By turning us away from the imposing existential inquiries they hint at, and toward a fresher, sunnier gestalt, Hopkins reassures us of the world’s goodness even as he keeps the world’s failures top of mind. The struggle is not between good an evil, but between cynicism and bravery.

This solo exhibition explores the dialogue between the many different formats of self-discovery, expression, interaction with reality and science in all its technical wonders. It showcases Hopkin’s earlier paper artworks and the never before seen collection of paintings created with a proprietary process that offers two unique experiences.

How we met the world-renowned sculpture John Kennedy!
My husband Marty Feldman and I were invited to a dinner party in Rancho Mirage, California. We had always been collectors of art and on this fateful evening we met the artist and sculpture John Kennedy. We were so captivated, that my husband arranged for us to have private showing at his home the next day. What we saw was absolutely amazing! His entire garden was filled with LIFE size Bronze Sculptures. Inside his home studio, was a rendering of a most exquisite LIFE size piece he was commissioned to do for the estate of Audrey Hepburn. This sculpture is now displaced at the United Nations Plaza in New York City entitled “Spirit of Audrey”My husband was so taken, he looked at me and I knew he wanted to do something spectacular with and for this artist. We then decided to write his amazing LIFE Story and photograph his entire works of art to date. We enlisted the talent of the famous photographer at LACMA and the great writer at the Huntington Library. After 2 years we had a gorgeous 167-page book of magnificent artwork that is nested inside a handmade wooden box with a Bas Relief Bronze sculpture secured to the front of the box. After we presented John with this magnificent finished project, he was overwhelmed and us to make sure the World gets to see it. John passed away after he got his copies of the book for himself and his family in London. To this day 2023 his bronze sculpture” The Entertainer” is awarded at the Palms Springs Film Festival. Recipients of the award in 2023 include Austin Butler, Steven Spielberg, Octavia, Spencer, and many other illustrious actors throughout the years. Only a Limited amount are still available. The Los Angeles Fashion Show took center stage during the much-celebrated Los Angeles Fashion Week, drawing fashion enthusiasts from around the globe. ACCA's collaboration with the fashion show marked a groundbreaking fusion of high fashion and artistic expression. This partnership spotlighted a myriad of artists — Amara, Fahad Alhumaid, Inessa Bonet, Jamie Nelson, Jim Jordan, Osiris Munir, Scotch Hopkins and their enthralling collections. ACCA's International Director Maya Ito fostered a dialogue between the worlds of fashion designers, models, photographers and creativity. All came to participate in making art, under the slogan “All You Need is ART” "We are incredibly proud to partner with the Los Angeles Fashion Show 2024," said ACCA Director Carlos Benitez. "This event stands as a testament to the power of art and fashion in shaping societal discourse and driving forward a more inclusive and reflective cultural narrative."
