Many lawyers use words and phrases on their websites that don’t directly resonate with their target audience. Things like past accolades, awards and achievements, mentions in SuperLawyers, past work and experience with AM100 law firms, etc. It’s wonderful to get recognition by SuperLawyers and definitely something to celebrate. In other words, there are no monthly charges or recurring fees; you only pay when someone clicks on your ad. Google PPC is a popular advertising method because they’re an incredible and effective way to generate highly qualified leads for a law firm. - When there is a disconnection between the audience the - messaging in the video
- You’re not addressing the pain points of your audience
- You’re only talking about yourself, your achievements, but not about them
- Overly obvious polishing or scripted narrative to the point the video feels inauthentic


Video is a powerful tool because it allows you to visually differentiate yourself from every other law firm in your market. It means showing your personality and speaking the language of your target market.


A great video answers the following questions:

Who you are
Why you do what you do
Why you exist
What are the reasons beyond making money
What is the impact you’re making in your community

How would you describe your customer after they’ve worked with you? How would THEY want to describe themselves? Before they’re _____ and after they’re _______.

Pro tip: Write them down. It comes down to two words. They’re “brave” and “strong” or “confident” and “inspired.”

Look at your videos and marketing and see if these words are anywhere in there. If not, put them in! Video, with a conversion rate of 86%, is the best tool to use to ensure that your message reaches your audience in the most effective way possible.
