I may have to leave all Facebook groups and community groups I belong in. I may even have to start blocking people all together from my feed. If I do this, I will probably get rid of this page as well. I am just to damn frustrated all the time. I bet you are wondering if this is about me getting deeper into my Catholic faith or about politics, but no that has nothing to do with it at all.

It’s about people not even trying to articulate themselves. Spelling is atrocious, grammar and punctuation are barely used. Why did I spend so many years beating myself up over failing English classes over and over again? Why did I go through the work of being tested for a learning disability? Why did I then go through the work of pushing myself to get better?

Just randomly posting comments or questions that take many more comments to figure out what they are even getting at.

Dear Facebook,

While I truly believe it is a noble suggestion and think highly of those that do, please stop reminding me that my birthday is coming and that I should pick a non-profit to raise awareness/money for. I am broke and many of your suggestions have money reserves and notoriety. Please make available an option to share my own CashApp, Venmo and PayPal accounts all at once, so if anyone wants to truly make an impact in my life, they can do so personally.

The entire rant below, is based on discovering that GoFundMe at FlavorFlav’s request compiled a list of every U.S. Olympian who is try to raise money to get by. Team the rant or don’t. Please share this post though or copy the link and post it yourself with your feelings.

So to get this right, Olympic athletes are responsible for paying for things that are certainly covered for other athletes who are competing at a much, much, let me repeat, much lower level then others who have it all taken care of??
Olympians, who represent their countries highest level of excellence in their respective sports. In their role as ambassadors of sparking hopes, dreams and patriotism they are practicing and competing constantly. This is work!
The moment you qualify to represent the U.S. internationally at any competition (we are country with the most money and ability to do so) they should be paid for every hour they spend practicing, traveling and competing. Expense covered and enough money given to them personally to pay their bills.
Americans left and right are considered so patriotic by other countries that they find us weird. Why are we not compensating the very people who proudly represent us on every level of international affairs!

What isn’t clear is the why? Because he was a racist back in late 1800’s until he died in the 1900’s? Or because he was the main proponent behind the creation of Isreal after WWII? Either way, how does destroying artwork do anything productive?

Hey, everyone just an fyi. Feel free to share is you feel the same. 10 important things:@
1) I show up as my authentic self. If we have met you know this. As much as that is true of my social media accounts, it needs to be said that I have changed greatly.
2) I share my hard times, good times, big thoughts, crushing hurts, laughs, and ideas that I have. You are not required to agree or like any of them.
3) In my current life, I will not engage if I don’t think it will bring me or someone else joy.
4) I believe I am to be fully invested in my “community” which means I prioritize every interaction. People matter, I matter, and you matter!
5) I love don’t have a lot of in person interaction anymore, so social media helps see what people are up to. It lets me share in the joys, the pains, the sorrow, the life events.
6) If I actually comment on a post or respond to a post, it’s because I look forward to engaging with you. Whether that is me trying to be helpful or me trying to see a different perspective and get more clarity.
7) If my post or comments don’t bring joy to your life, please unfriend me. It’s not a requirement for you to have see my posts or have me see your’s.
8: People can change. I most certainly have. Not everyone is meant to be in your life forever.
9) I would love to see my world be one filled with love for others. So I show up with the intent of lovingly moving energy towards others and try to write at clearly as I can.
10) I hope this is as clearly written as I hear it in my mind. Please take care of your relationships and make them meanigful!

Just had a brilliant idea. Both PBS and BBC are deeply underfunded, but have massive libraries of content. They, should join forces and offer a streaming service here in the U.S. and in the U.K. to start out. $20/month. It would be a massive hit and would be that much difference between what residents of the U.K. already pay and what PBS Passport costs. $18.08/month and $5/month respectively.

I have been thinking about this partnership for years and years.
