Housing insecurity often looks much different than you might think. A colleague, a thriving entrepreneur, a working mom, a domestic violence survivor, or someone in recovery may not be leaving work to a safe home each night.

Let’s not take for granted the blessing of waking up in a bed, sheltered and safe. And let’s give grace to those who might seem "off" or are battling "seasonal depression."

I've often heard track and field icon, Joetta, share her Olympic journey. For over 20 years, she competed, participating in every outdoor USA Championship or Olympic trial, winning five outdoor and seven indoor titles, ranking #4 in the world, and becoming a 4x Olympian. Success is about showing up, staying consistent, and seizing the opportunity to be in the room.

Last night, we witnessed this spirit firsthand with over 100 nominees across 15 categories at the Awards. Each and every one of us in that room has been on a journey, persevering and overcoming to perfect our craft.
