We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Captain Kermit Travers, the last Black skipjack captain on the Chesapeake Bay. We were proud to have played a small role in bringing to life Dr. Clara L. Small's biography about him. We extend our condolences to his family and friends all across Delmarva and the Chesapeake.

The Bay region is mourning the loss of a well-known Chesapeake Bay skipjack captain who sailed through the working skipjack era, Captain Kermit Travers.

We are incredibly proud to announce that our newest release, Jane Goodall at 90 by Marc Bekoff and Koen Margodt, had debuted on Amazon in the NUMBER ONE spot for Primatology! We worked hard on this one and we could not be happier with the results. Imagine our joyous surprise when we received a text from Marc Bekoff with a photo of Jane Goodall holding a copy of this book! Contributors to this collection of essays include members of Jane's family, Leonardo Di Caprio, Dave Matthews, Pierce Brosnan, Joaquim Phoenix, Rooney Mara, Sir Brian May, Craig Foster, and Patrick McDonnell to name a few. Reading these messages of how she inspired generations across the globe to invest in conservation and ecology was heartwarming - truly good stuff! This was an exciting project for us and we are thrilled to know it is finally out in the world! 📚❤️
