*Mass Destruction is the name of the industrial process that enables open-pit mining to be profitable. Invented by Daniel Jackling, mass destruction allows multiple concentrations of ore to be extracted by levelling mountains and excavating enormous pits that unfortunately scar forever the watersheds and landscapes in which they occur.
