Berkeley police have made an arrest in the case of a teenager they say pulled a gun during a recent street fight on Telegraph Avenue. The fight happened at about the same time a TikTok star said he was attacked on Telegraph — but police say the gun arrest was not related to that.

Berkeley police identified the suspect as 18-year-old Guilherme Alves of Hayward.

Police at UC Berkeley have advised the public to avoid Evans Hall and Moffitt Library "until further notice."
