For this week's WBWC specialty show highlight, we have Tom LaMoreaux, host of "Sunday Night at The Oldies" on 88.3!
Tom has been running the show for just under 40 years, starting in June of 1985. "Sunday Night at The Oldies" features classic rock music from the mid-60s to early 80s. He enjoys creating themed shows for his audience, including lyric-less, musical storytelling, southern rock, and Cleveland rock nights, all within the time frame.

This show features the top five most requested songs of the week by our listeners, as well as other fun, recurrent segments. One of those segments is "On This Day" where the hosts take a look at a song that was on the top of the alternative charts on the same day in a different year. Listeners can also discover new album releases and celebrity birthdays in the alternative world and have an opportunity for giveaways!

Next up on our specialty show highlights is John Basalla, host of WBWC's show "The Golden Age of Rock and Roll!"
"The Golden Age of Rock and Roll" has been on the airwaves of 88.3 since 1971, with its current name getting added in 1974. The show features music from the 1950s and early 1960s. Originally hosted by B. R. Anthony who sadly passed in 2002, John Basalla hopes to continue his legacy by hosting the show and sharing this music with both dedicated fans who grew up on radio and new fans alike.

First up is MaKayla with her new show "Rocksteady!" The name "Rocksteady" comes from a genre that she is very passionate about, one that blends ska-punk and reggae music together! MaKayla lives in Orange County, California where the ska-punk/reggae scene is very vibrant. She enjoys bringing music from back home and her childhood to the airwaves of WBWC!
