Advisor brag here: NWACC students, former students, and Eagle View team members received six awards today at the Pinnacle awards for reporting ceremony. Kay King, editor in chief, was among the honorees, and she and other current Eagle View staffers are holding up certificates. We are excited to learn at the College Media conference in NOLA and submit more amazing work for next year’s contest.

The Eagle View adviser is popping in here to share that Samantha McClain, our managing editor for the fall '23 semester and managing editor-online for the spring '24 semester, received four national awards in the National Federation of Press Women's communications contest. Way to go, Samantha!

See a panoramic video of the Kusama Infinity Mirrored Room, a ticketed art installation in the Contemporary Gallery at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. The feeling of falling into the space created by mirrors is much greater, however, in several pieces in the “Crystals in Art” special exhibit opening tomorrow.

My last day in Siena. I wandered around the town several times in the intense heat, soaking in the sights and smells. This video shows only one tiny part of what Siena offers.
