The Marshall County Board of Education is having a friendly competition with the Benton Elementary Quick Recall team, which recently won first place at a the district competition, during this evening’s board meeting.

We’re here at the “political bloodbath” Halloween Havoc enduro derby where crews are making finishing touches on the track, the drivers are getting amped up and the kids are trick-or-treating.
Featured in tonight’s race are Sen. Danny Carroll (seeking re-election), State Rep. Will Coursey (in the running for Marshall County Judge-Executive), Marshall County Sheriff Kevin Byars (seeking re-election), Eddie McGuire (in the running for MC Sheriff), Assistant County Attorney Jason Darnall (in the running for County Attorney), and Benton City Attorney Zach Brien (in the running for County Attorney).
The race starts at 7 p.m. so y’all still have time to come join us!
