Constructive Criticism: Constructive criticism is encouraged; however, it must be delivered respectfully and not be intended to demean or belittle others. Bullying and Personal Attacks: Bullying, personal attacks, or any form of targeted harassment against individuals or groups will not be tolerated. Privacy: Respect the privacy of others. Do not share personal information or content about others without their consent. Relevance: Comments should be relevant to the post. Off-topic comments may be removed to maintain the focus and quality of discussions. Spam

The essence of bringing in academics to weigh in on the perspectives and scientific variances in the pop culture lexicon has long created intense discussions. With a new edition of the Science on Screen film series at Images Cinema in Williamstown Mass., Executive Director Dan Hudson is bringing a new theme in “Eco-Disaster: How We Imagine Humankind Will Navigate Global Catastrophe”. The film series will encompass different aspects and genres beginning Wednesday, January 8, 2025 with Lars Von Trier's “Melancholia” starring Kirsten Dunst. Other films in the series will include “Children Of Men,” “Deep Impact” and “Snowpiercer." Hudson sat down with Banner along with academic participant Dr. Jeremy A. Cone, associate professor of psychology at Williams College, to discuss perspective, affectation and the context of impression.

Almost two years ago, when Bennington Theater executive director Kevin Carlon took the reins of the performance venue rooted in history with the former Oldcastle Theatre Company and more recently the Bennington Performing Arts Center.
