Another Awesome day in the duck blind!! Over all the years of waterfowling we had a legit shot at a blackduck but it alluded us!!

The weather this fall has been less than ideal for waterfowl hunting, but put in the time and you will find em!! Name of the game is scouting!

It’s been a blessing spending so much time together in the outdoors doing what we love! There has been a lot of firsts for the girls this year and it brings back so many memories of our childhood with our families!! Hits yah in the feels!

Hope everyone is getting out there and enjoying everything Autumn has to offer!

What an awesome weekend up north hanging out with family and friends for deer opener!! This year was a little extra special with Braelyn taking her first deer! Deer opener is a whole lot more than just the hunting, it’s all about tradition and family! It’s about spending quality time together and enjoying everything that God has given us! Hope everyone had a great weekend and good luck the rest of the season!

Grouse hunting in the area is exceptional right now with very high grouse numbers!! Get out there and enjoy what fall has to offer!!

Another Nestor Falls Musky Cup 2024 is in the books! This tournament is so well run and is one of our favorites! It’s crazy how many good sticks fish it! Hanging out after each day with everyone is awesome and getting to fish another cup together is what it’s all about!

This year day one we lost a 43-44 and had another 6-7 follows. Day 2 we caught a thick 45 and lost a really big 50-51 after a long battle. If your gonna win this tourney you got to fish clean and that was not the case for us this year!

Huge shoutout to Thatcher Haggberg and Dave Bonke for taking home the Cup and to Hannah Stimpfl and Joel Alvestad taking home the chainsaw fish!

Cant thank Byron and all the volunteer’s enough for putting on a fun weekend! Can’t wait for next year!

This thick four footer inhaled a 8/9 Stagger Black Ice two cranks in!! Immediately came to the top and head shook the whole way in!

It’s fun fishing tournaments and getting that extra little rush when you catch some good ones!

On to the next week!! Can’t wait!

Fishing has brought us so many new friendships over the years and we are so greatful that Sam Stone has been a part of it along with so many others!

Life is very short when you really think about it and there’s no time for not surrounding yourself with great people that enjoy the same passions! We are grateful for the friendships we have because of this crazy addiction!!

Had a blast fishing another Frank Schneider Memorial Muskie Tournament with Sam Stone! This year was the year of four footers with one each morning! We lost the one we needed yesterday morning but our fish were enough to get a 4th place finish!

Huge shoutout to Twin Cities Muskies, Inc. and everyone else involved in making a tournament like this happen!
