Join us next weekend at the Meredith Rotary Ice Fishing Derby 🎣❄️ and stop by the Kids Activity & Warming Tent at the Derby HQ in Meredith, open Saturday & Sunday from 10 AM – 2 PM.

NH Fish and Game will be with us on Saturday from
10-2 hosting our Kids Clinic; learning ice safety and how to ice fish.

Special Presentation by the Squam Lakes Science Center Saturday at 11:00 am come and learn how they care for the animals in the winter and also what they do with all the fish donated from the fishing derby weekend.

Then Sunday at 11:00 am the Meredith Children’s Library will have some fun activities as well!

Families can warm up and enjoy a variety of activities, including a Fish & Game Fishing Clinic, a scavenger hunt, and more. It’s a great spot for kids to learn, explore, and have fun while taking a break from the ice.

It will be a fun filled weekend for all ages!!!

Hawk Star ✨ Birthday....Graham Nash 83! The Hollies/ Crosby Stills & Nash February 2,1942.

Happy Birthday to Woodstock performer Graham Nash! 🎉🥳🎊🎂🎶🎸

Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young were one of the last groups to take the stage as part of the Day three schedule around 3:30 AM Monday morning August 18, 1969 in Bethel, NY.

Woodstock was only the second live performance for newly formed supergroup, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and they certainly were “scared sh*tless,” as Stephen Stills informed the Woodstock audience after the first song of their set. It wasn’t so much that they were scared to perform in front of half a million people; their trepidation came from the presence of Jimi Hendrix and other musical peers in the shadows on stage, waiting to see whether or not these disparate musical forces could bring the excitement of their recently-released debut studio album to the stage. Their debut performance had come earlier that weekend in Chicago on Saturday August 16th 1969.

Graham William Nash OBE (born February 2, 1942) is an English-American musician, singer and songwriter. He is known for his light tenor voice and for his contributions as a member of the Hollies and Crosby, Stills & Nash.

Nash is a photography collector, a published photographer, and digital image printing pioneer. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Crosby, Stills & Nash in 1997 and as a member of the Hollies in 2010. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2010 Birthday Honours List for services to music and to charity.

Nash holds four honorary doctorates, including one from the New York Institute of Technology, one in music from the University of Salford in 2011 and one in fine arts from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
