Sunday Meatloaf. Yummy! RECIPE:
Sauce
3/4 cup of ketchup
1 1/2 teaspoons of apple cider or white vinegar
2 1/2 Tablespoons of brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon each of salt and pepper
Meatloaf
1 1/2 pounds hamburger meat a 3rd part pork (optional)
1/2 of a chopped onion
1 egg
1 slice bread soaked in 1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon wheat germ (optional)
Salt/Pepper
375* for an hour to an hour and a half

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We had a wonderful day. Here's the before and after. On the menu was:

Turkey and dressing with gravy
Cranberry relish
Sausage
Sweet potatoes and apples
Broccoli rice casserole
Grainy, mustard roasted carrots & shallots
Homemade rolls
Coconut and Pecan pies
Cranberry cheesecake

Here is part of the gang of criminal cows that have been put in the Time Out Pasture. On Wednesday and Thursday while Dawn was out of town they busted into the hay barn and ate about a bale and half of hay. Caden checked on the cows on Thursday and noticed nothing out of place. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Here is a repost of my Rosemary Orange Biscuits from last Thanksgiving. πŸ‘‡
Orange Rosemary Biscuits 🍊
2 cups of White Lily All Purpose Flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
Zest of one orange
Β½ cup butter
1/3 to Β½ cup of good orange juice

Stir together the four, baking powder, salt, rosemary and orange zest. Cut in butter and then add enough orange juice to make a soft dough. Knead on a foured surface for about 10 to 12 turns. Roll out dough in to ΒΌ inch thickness. Cut with a 2" or larger cutter. Put on a greased baking sheet and bake at *425 for 12 to 15 minutes or until browned.

Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars 🧑
Recipe πŸ‘‡
CRUST
1 cup White Lily All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
5 Tablespoons butter
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
πŸ“ŒSave 3/4 cup of this mixture for topping
Cook in 9 by 9 pan 15 minutes at 350*

FILLING
1 8 oz. cream cheese softened
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
2 eggs beaten
1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon allspice and vanilla
350* 30-35 min. cool before cutting
