The last 24 hours did not go as planned. Funny how life happens when your busy making other plans isn’t it?

Well we gotta roll with it.

Luckily I’m good at pivoting and I have some amazing humans that pick me up when I need just that.

Overthinking is the queen of all evil. She will beat you down and break your soul.

So I forgot to put my watch on this morning to track my workout.

I reminded myself that I move my body for my mental wellness, to maintain my mobility and to manage my autoimmune disease not because I have anything to prove to anyone let alone a watch.

Chronic illness is made worse by lack of movement. Lack of movement breeds chronic aches, pains, and disease.

What a predicament we live in when most of us are forced to work and live indoors under bright lights.

Guess what? It’s summer!

Moving our bodies outside, getting time in nature, and letting our feet touch the ground is healing beyond measure. In fact, being outside in the forest can enhance anti-cancer proteins in lymphocytes.

I bet you want to put those feet in the grass now, don’tcha?

So go do it! Find some trees, find a forest, find a park, hit the grass with bare feet.

Breathing from the belly activates your parasympathetic nervous system. Think relax and rest.
Laughing seriously helps reduce stress, improves sleep, keeps you young, improves breathing and decreases pain.
