Has writing a book been on your to-do list for far too long?📜
Perhaps it’s on your “maybe someday” list, your “pipe dream,” your “after I finish X, Y, and Z.”
You’ve accomplished a lot in your lifetime, but you just can’t seem to get a book out the door.
So … why hasn’t it happened? 🤔
Even the most successful people can’t do everything at once, and you might be running into following roadblocks:
🪨You have a lot of wisdom, but you’re just not a writer—and you don’t have the time to become one. You’re a speaker, a story-teller, an idea person, but you’re nervous you don’t have what it takes to become an author. Writing is hard, consuming work.
🪨Your plate is already overflowing with tasks and to-dos and you feel that you barely have the energy for your existing responsibilities. Between work, family, and everything in between, you’re already juggling a lot and you can’t imagine how you’ll add writing and editing 50,000 words to your plate.
🪨The thought of breaking into the publishing industry is intimidating. Writing a book is much more than putting your ideas down on paper, it means brainstorming, outlining, writing, editing (and editing some more), formatting, designing, publishing, marketing...the list goes on. Chances are, several of those steps are outside your realm.
So how do you push past it all and share your knowledge with the world?
At Speak It To Book, we are a team of professionals who will come around you and draw out your book contents, publish your book, and position you to redeem culture and get it into the hands of those who need it most.

Once your first draft has been completed, it’s important to take a moment to celebrate your accomplishment. Finishing a first draft is often the hardest step for aspiring authors, and you did it!
Now you can take the next step that will bring your book closer to completion: editing.
✨Schedule editing appointments✨
As you begin, schedule out appointments that are dedicated to editing your first draft.
If you aren’t sure how much time to set aside, a general rule of thumb is to schedule an hour for every thousand words you've written. The time you need to edit could vary, but that will give you a rough estimate of how much time to set aside.
Once you have scheduled the editing time, add a “celebrate finishing second draft” appointment on the following Friday or Saturday.
✨Edit with your customer personas in mind✨
Imagine them gathered around you. They need to know what you know about the topic—they need your help. Start at the beginning and work through what you have written. And before you know it, your second draft will be completed.
Are you still working on your first draft, and it's taking much longer than you expected? We are here to help!
Our process is crafted for people like you who are busy changing the world and simply don’t have the time, or even desire, to spend years writing every word of their book.

Do you doubt whether true, unconditional love exists?
Society tells you to compromise and lower your standards.
But God is greater than the ways of this world, and His love is a powerful thing. Some people try to buy love or earn it, but love cannot be purchased or achieved.
True love is as the Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son” (John 3:16).
Having unconditional love can feel like an impossible thing, but true love is a choice and a gift you give repeatedly.
Author Geraldine Jones and her husband, Edward Jones, were married for nearly four decades before he went to be with Jesus in September 2020. Through their life of ups and downs, God continually showed them the way to love each other with words of affirmation, kindness, and His undying love.
Amazing Love shares their story and Jones hopes that others will begin to believe in true love again—and learn to trust in the One who makes it possible.
Unconditional love cannot be manufactured or created or forced. It comes from deep within, and it comes from Jesus Christ.
Jesus loves us all unconditionally and lived a perfect example of love on earth. God’s love is the only love that will never ever disappoint.
Make Jesus the center of your relationship and Amazing Love will follow. Click the link to pick up your copy today! https://tinyurl.com/2p9cuvfd

So you’ve finished writing… what’s next?
Publish it!
Have you completed your manuscript and believe it’s ready for the publishing process, but you’re not sure what next steps to take in order to get it published?
First you need to determine which publishing option is the best fit for you and your book. Start by thinking about your vision and goals for your book and for your author career.
Identify which of the three publishing routes will support your vision and goals:
Traditional Publishing—the author contracts with an agent to try to get their book acquired by a traditional publisher in hopes that the author will receive a royalty advance up front and can outsource most of the tasks after writing 🧙🏻♂️
Hybrid Self-Publishing—the author contracts with a hybrid publisher to have them manage most of the various tasks involved in publishing and marketing the book 🤝
Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Self-Publishing—the author publishes the book by doing each of the various tasks involved in publishing and marketing the book 🛠️
If you intend to pursue traditional publishing, you will need to create a book proposal for your book and land a literary agent.
If you aren’t sure if your manuscript is at a place for publishing or if you are trying to publish traditionally (but your book keeps getting rejected), then we’d love to talk to you about partnering with Sermon To Book. We want to build upon your vision and goals and help you determine what would be the best publishing option that supports them.
Do you have a book living inside of you—longing to get out? Are you looking for a team to help you write your book?
Look no further.
Our team is committed to you and your story. We take you from idea to published book.
When you work with us, your book will seamlessly come to life.
Here’s how:
😡No writing frustrations - Our system saves you time and energy so that your focus remains on your message.
😤No technology complications - Our method is designed to take away the complexity of building your author platform.
😖No publishing hassle - We do everything in top-notch quality with a focused team of experts throughout the process.
If you have tried to write a book, you know that the work is grueling 😓😓
But the actual writing isn’t the only thing that’s time-intensive and challenging—getting your book published can often be just as painful for authors.
That’s why we not only write your book, we publish it too! 🥂
In fact we created packages that cater to the two primary publishing pathways—self-publishing and traditional publishing.
Whether you are writing a book or building a house, you work with your buyers in mind—what they want and value.
Just as a builder studies a neighborhood before determining what kind of house to build 🏠, so an author should carefully document the wants and needs of their target market to guide their writing.
You don’t want to finish your book only to find out there is little need for it.
And that’s where we can help.
Our mission is simple:
To help you use your ideas—your books—to reach more people with God's message.
Speak It To Book brings all of the publishing services that you need under one roof. Through high-quality editorial, 7-point ghostwriting, and appealing cover design, we make your book available as both a paperback and ebook.

Writing a book means you are declaring to the world that you are an authority on your topic. So do just that, be an authority!
Being an authority on a topic means you write about what you understand thoroughly and focus on a specific need, adding value and striking a chord with your readers 🎶
You can make a REAL difference in the lives of your readers
Sit down and ask yourself these 3 questions:
👉 What specific need do I want to help my readers with?
👉 What is lacking in current books on the topic and how will my book be different?
👉 How will my reader’s life be different after reading my book?
If you are stuck and struggling to answer these important questions—or feel like you just can’t put the right words on paper—we can work with you to take your unique perspective and expertise on a topic and turn it into a book.
We are passionate about writing books and want to work with you to get those ideas out of your head and onto paper ✍️
Do you long to be a successful author? Then it’s crucial that you use your book as a bridge to connect with your readers.
Using your book as a bridge helps to build a network of people who want to connect with you and your mission on a more long-term basis.
We want to help you get there.
Speak It To Book is so much more than a ghostwriting agency. We believe that writing a book just to sell it and nothing else is small thinking.
Many of our clients have had the ability to recoup their investment and reach thousands of people worldwide through new opportunities such as:
📣 John Hawkins reaped five times his initial investment by booking speaking engagements and consulting jobs.
📣 Michael Todd’s large platform helped him secure a book deal with a traditional publishing company and become a New York Times Best-Selling author.
Nate Sweeney is continuing to grow his reach through his email list and his podcast subscribers.
📣 You could be next.
Bring your ideas and we will work with you to create an incredible experience for your readers and a profitable venture for you!
Writing a book is like hiking the Appalachian Trail 🏔️
Before a successful hiker begins their journey, they start with a thorough understanding of how long their trip will be 🗺️. This allows them to set daily goals of how long they’ll need to hike each day in order to achieve their ultimate goal.
Setting realistic, recurring goals helps the hiker know their goal is achievable, which means they won’t feel overwhelmed by the 2,200-mile journey ahead of them 🥾
Just like the hiker, you can change the overwhelming goal of writing a book into a series of achievable recurring goals.
In order to do so, you will need to determine:
🚩How many words your manuscript should be
🚩How many words you average per hour of writing
🚩How many hours per week you can dedicate to your writing
Once these numbers are established, you’ll be able to calculate how long it will take for you to complete your first draft.
Now you can set a deadline—pick a date and mark it on your calendar 🗓️ to hold yourself accountable.
Is there anything stopping you from embarking on the book-writing journey? Are you realizing you simply don’t have the time to commit to writing the book laid on your heart? Do you feel at a loss when it comes to editing, publishing and marketing?
Unlike hiking the Appalachian Trail, you don’t have to do this alone—you can work with a team that will rally around your ideas and help put pen to paper.
Our team at Speak It To Book will take the time to listen to you, write the message in your heart, and help position your voice as a thought leader in your niche.
Now, we know what you’re thinking, “How will I ever publish if I don’t write?” Great question. We’re here to tell you to START 🟢 writing your proposal.
A book proposal is hands-down one of the most helpful tools you can have when it comes to writing and publishing your book. It’s like your business plan.
Regardless of whether you intend to self-publish or pursue having your book traditionally published, you should follow these steps to create a book proposal:
🛑 Summarize your book along with its features and benefits.
🛑 Determine the categories and topics your book falls into, and trends for those categories and topics.
🛑 Identify the strongest competitive titles and determine the strengths and weaknesses of each and how your book will stack up against each.
🛑 Identify the target market for your book and determine the size of that market
🛑 Provide information on what qualifies you to write this book.
🛑 Determine a preliminary title for your book that clearly communicates what it is about and what makes it unique.
🛑 Create a chapter-by-chapter synopsis of what you intend to write. The first sentence of each chapter synopsis should answer the question, “What is this about?” The second sentence of each chapter synopsis should answer the question, “Why is it here?”
If you feel like you don't have the time ⏰ to write a book, or even a book proposal, let us help you achieve your dream of writing and publishing a book.
Have you started the journey of writing your book?
The time you spend writing is crucial to finishing your first draft on time. Don’t waste a moment navigating the time you’ve already set aside to write or you’ll end up feeling a little lost, like a person traveling with no map 😵💫
Instead, we recommend creating a detailed writing plan—also known as your “writing map”
Here are 3 easy steps you can take to create your own writing plan:
📍Review your book proposal, look over what you brainstormed, including your chapter-by-chapter synopsis, chapter titles, and any bullet points written out for each chapter.
📍Copy the chapter-by-chapter synopsis and paste it into a new document. This is the burgeoning outline for your book.
📍Set aside time to build out an outline for each chapter. We recommend starting each chapter discussing your reader’s situation, the problems they are dealing with, and hint at the solution—then ending each chapter with a quick explanation of how you were in a similar situation, how you found a solution that improved your situation, and how you will share that solution in the forthcoming chapters.
We know it can be challenging to sit down and write a book, or even a writing plan for your book. If you are struggling to do so, or feel like you have content but just can’t seem to string it together the right way, then we’d love to chat with you!

When saying “no” can be a positive.
Have you ever asked someone for a favor, only to be told no? This may have made you feel awkward, upset, or even bad for asking.
David Kinnan, a Sermon To Book author, shared a recent insight looking at the positive side of receiving a “no” response.
He made the point that a "no" reply is better than "no reply."
Why? Responding takes effort and is a sign of respect while still maintaining priorities.
In fact, Kinnan recently reached out to Bob Goff and Goff wrote back to tell him, “no.”
He shared the following on his page:
“A best-selling author that I highly admire wrote me back. Who cares if he said ‘no’. He wrote back. [...] It's easy to let a ‘no’ turn you into a victim. [But] a ‘no’ can be a learning experience. Bob Goff can say ‘no’. I should be ok with saying ‘no’. Bob Goff doesn't need me to agree with his ‘no’. Bob Goff has priorities. Healthy people have healthy priorities.”
Maybe you said “yes” to writing a book, but you are realizing that you don’t actually have the time to commit to writing your book.
Do you need to say “no” to the hours upon hours of writing and editing? Then say “yes” to working with a team that will work with you to write, edit, and publish your book!
We can be that team, the one that will help make writing and publishing a book within your reach.

There are a lot of people who should write a book, but they’re often too busy to put everything on pause to write one.
Are you wondering if you should write? 🤔 Before you get started ask yourself the following questions:
❓ Will my book help someone? A big reason people buy a book is because they believe it will help change their lives. Your book could be the one to help them.
❓ What is my motivation? If you’re simply writing a book to add “author” to your title, chances are that people won’t be interested in what you have to say. Instead, aim to bless others through sacrifice—that’s the key to impacting lives.
❓ What are my big-picture goals? If your number-one goal is to sell your book to make money, you’re headed in the wrong direction. Books are opportunities of impact. Think of all the possible ways a book could benefit your mission, then start writing.
Are you ready to start your book? If you’re not sure where to begin or feel overwhelmed by the task, we are here to help! We are a team of writing and publishing professionals that comes around you to guide you through the writing, positioning, and publishing of your book.

As you set aside time to write your book, remember that whatever you choose to do with your time comes at the expense of other priorities.
Here are three "appointments" to best maximize your time:
✅ Additional writing appointments. This will help you replace time that you would be spending doing less important things, such as going mindlessly surfing the web or watching TV.
✅ “Platform development” appointments. Put a cap on the amount of time you spend developing your brand, platform, audience, and network. This will help you streamline your social media use, instead of wasting time scrolling.
✅ "Author education” appointments. Learning about writing a book is useful, however it’s not useful if you spend so much time learning *about* writing that you aren’t spending time on your book.
With these appointments in place, you will be one step closer to writing your first draft 🌟
Feeling overwhelmed? 🥲 Afraid that you can’t commit the amount of time needed to write your book? 😬 That's where we can help. We want to help you reach more people with the message God has laid on your heart.
We bring all of the publishing services that you need under one roof. Through high-quality editorial, 7-point ghostwriting, and appealing cover design, we make your book available as both a paperback and ebook.

Did you know most people burn more calories from brain activity during an average day than from any other activity? As you get started, remember to show up for your scheduled writing appointments, and to treat them like some of the most important times on your calendar. That means showing up on time and quickly getting to work.
Use the first few minutes of each writing session to make a list of what you need to accomplish today 📝
Then you can sit down and start writing 🖋️
As you write, new ideas💡and questions❓will come up—but don’t let them distract you! Add any new questions or ideas to your writing plan rather than falling into a rabbit hole 🐰.
At the end of your writing appointment, review what you have accomplished today and what you plan to accomplish next. Schedule any additional research appointments that you will need to get your questions answered.
We know it can be challenging to sit down and write a book. If you find you are struggling to do so, or perhaps feel like you have your content but are struggling to write it down, we’d love to chat with you to see if our process would be a good fit to assist you in accomplishing your dream of writing a book.

Do you view disruption as a beneficial, positive part of life?
When our lives are disrupted, they can’t continue in the usual way. It is all too easy to continue living in this world by merely keeping in step with the culture. Living a status quo life just like everyone else. Everywhere we turn we hear messages telling us to exalt ourselves, follow our hearts, and worship the idols of money and s*x, or whatever else we think will make us “happy.” It is counterintuitive to die to ourselves, to take up our crosses, and to renounce our wills and sinful desires in favor of God’s will.
Dr. Scott Hamilton is a prominent psychologist and a coach, teacher, husband, father, and grandfather. From his wealth of clinical, ministerial, and family experience comes disruptive insight into the human need for rest, reflection, and regeneration in a time when anxiety, concern, and fear permeate the contemporary culture.
In this relatable book, you’ll learn:
What it means to disrupt your life and why it’s beneficial
The value of living in the present moment
How to utilize a disruptive pause
How to keep God at the center of personal reflection
Why you need to intentionally seek renewal and regeneration
How to pursue refreshment in a chaotic life
Jesus laid out a counter-cultural way of life for believers. Following Christ is inherently disruptive! As believers, we will be at odds with the world because we march to the beat of a different drummer. Embrace Disruptive Christian Leadership through rest, reflection, and regeneration and turn the world upside down.
