Hi, and hello to everyone who is new 'round here! I thought I'd take some time to reintroduce myself!

My name is Quinn, but really, please call me Q, I think it's much cuter, to be honest.

I wasn't supposed to walk due to a severe case of spina bifida and a tethered spinal cord.

Eleven surgeries later, I can walk, dance, jump, and run. But I wasn't allowed to do sports in school.

I went with music, anyway. I played flute from 5th-12th grade while dabbling in other instruments for fun. Music is incredibly healing and holds a huge space in my heart.

I told myself I never wanted kids. I never could communicate well with them. Here I am with a 5 week old daughter that my husband and I love with everything we are despite everything I told myself.

I've also worked for the same grocery store for the last 10 years and am taking steps (albeit, slow baby steps) to do something more by way of having started my own business.

My musings don't always make sense, but I'm full of random knowledge, and I love to share it with anyone who's also curious about tid bit facts.

It's a pleasure to have so many new friends in here! Let's bond, tell me about a memory you'll never forget! 💖✨️

You have been home with us for about a week, and we couldn't be happier to finally be a family complete.

We're the luckiest to be able to call ourselves your parents and to call you our daughter.

Seeing your smile has brought me to tears, as it's a pure innocence I vow to protect.

Fiora Autumn. Where do I begin?

I never thought I'd exist long enough to create you.

I had a really hard time while creating you, to the point where there were days I wasn't sure I was ever going to get to meet or get to know you.

Being in labor with you wasn't actually the hardest or most painful part of my life, though, despite what some people will say about child birth. (Ask me later)

Holding you in my arms, cleaning your spit up from the milk you just couldn't keep down, however, has been the most rewarding part of my life so far.

We haven't even got to take you home yet. You're not even 48 hours old, but I'm in love with you.

Your squishy little cheeks. Your red patches of fuzz on your head. Your tiny fingers and toes that make even your child-sized mama look like a giant.

All of it. Every experience we'll get to have, I'll be by your side. Every up, every down, and all the sideways slides, I'll be there with you, making sure you'll never have to go it alone in this world.

I love you so much, thank you for making me a mama, and for showing me how much love we truly get to live for in our lives. Thank you for changing mine forever in the best possible way.

So preoccupied w the idea that baby will be here in ~19 days, that I keep forgetting I'll be 30 in 10 days.

Never wanted to make it to 30, but I found myself wanting to live a little more each day as I've gotten older, despite the passing thought not to sometimes.

Now that my husband and I are starting a family, I have even more reason to make it to 30 and beyond.

Despite my absolute fear of this new journey, I'm excited to embrace it full heartedly, going with the flow. I'm ready but not at the same time and I can't wait to love on this little human.

FAM's bedside sleeper+ is set up, and we're taking the time to slow down and appreciate the changes that are right around the corner.

We've spent too much time working our lives away.

Too much time being underappreciated.

You know how when you go for a walk and you come across a hill, even just a slight one, and when you go up it, you realize you're more out of shape than you thought?

Did ya also know that if you walked the same hill every day, by the 30th day, it'd be easier than it was the first time? 😉

It's about the challenge, and to consistently challenge yourself to do something great. Even if that's just something great TO YOU!

Consistent small steps with intentional action to allow you to learn through trial and error is truly the model of someone with a successful mindset.

Are you living in that head space? Or are you someone who finds themselves saying,'Oh, I'll get to it tomorrow', only to find that when tomorrow comes, you're saying the same?

Are you going to challenge yourself? Or are you going to stay put? Whatever it is you end up doing, will it be fulfilling and worth what you're doing to accomplish your circumstance?

Not enough people put the time and energy into leveling up their weaknesses because it's painful, and healing is really hard.

What I also know is we've all been caught up in the monotony of get up, go to work, do errands, socialize, and fit 8 hours of sleep into 4.

The latter hurts so much worse, though!

Staying stuck and watching your life pass you by while milestones and celebrations are coming through for everyone else around you stings and makes you jaded.

DON'T ALLOW THAT FOR YOURSELF!

Take actions that thoroughly intimidate you strictly because you DON'T know what's on the other side!

For all you know, it's going to be the most beautiful step you'll ever take. Chances are, it changes your life.

Once you STOP doing the same things you've always done, you will start to see, feel, and experience things you never have before.

So what do you do? Stay stuck and wave to everyone else getting where you want to be? Or are you going to rip the bandaid off, try something new, and move towards the change necessary to raise your vibe?

Day 43 🗓

I'm a little bit of a mess right now, if I'm being honest with you. It's been a long month.

I'm 31wks pregnant and can't lift more than 10 lbs, so work thought it'd be appropriate to forego contacting me about taking me off the schedule for the foreseeable future.

With consistent attempts to set up a meeting with my boss through my union to get an understanding of WHY I wasn't consulted or communicated with, I have yet to hear word on any progress in my case to set up a 25 minute meeting. Come to find out, my workplace is violating the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act [PWFA] in a variety of ways, just to top it off.

Despite not having a main source of income two months before having a baby, I have used this overwhelming fear, distress, anger, and time as fuel and motivation to pour into my business.

You'll currently find me helping other fed up employees hit goals of putting an extra $5,000 monthly into their bank and setting up to escape the corporate grind.

30 weeks today. I can't believe how fast it's going by, that we only have 10 weeks until we meet our darling little one, and and I embark on our parenting journey.

Constantly being blindsided or disrespected by the company you work for?

Trust me, do I feel you.

It's exactly why I decided to start my business. I decided that I no longer (nor did I ever) deserve to be treated like a door mat. I made the choice to do something different than I have ever done in the past.

Has it been easy? Personally, for me, no, it hasn't. I've had my own personal bu****it holding me back. Learning something new is never easy and can be scary if you don't believe in yourself.

Putting your limiting beliefs to rest and learning to live without fear of how others perceive you and your life is daunting. But once you allow yourself freedom from the nonsense of believing you can't, nothing in the world can stop you.

Hi all, it has been a little while!

Just an update: the wave of my vibe has been incredibly low lately. It has been a lot to take on, but I am not here to subject yall to that.

I do want to remind everyone that if you are struggling, please do reach out to someone you care about for help. It's okay to need it sometimes.

Healing your own emotions and mental space is as monumental a task as any could be, but I know I'm in the works to feeling better.

My comeback is on its way, and not even I can stop myself. 😎
