New Programming Alert!

The Children’s Hour:
The Children’s Hour is a weekly, internationally syndicated kids’ public radio program and podcast, that educates, inspires, engages and entertains listeners of all ages. Produced with a team of volunteer children in a free after school program in Albuquerque, New Mexico, our host Katie Stone has been described as the “Mr. Rogers of public radio.” Some of our episodes come with come with Learn-Along guides that enable our programs to be used in the classroom. The Children’s Hour is syndicated worldwide, and distributed by Native Voice One, the Native American Radio Network. Airing Saturdays from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The KZAX Station Manager is a full time position at 30 hours per week (120 hours per month) at $17.28/hour. The Station Manager works with KZAX and Make.Shift staff to create a cohesive vision for KZAX. They ensure the smooth daily operation of the station and manage the administrative, technical, programmatic, and promotional aspects of the station. View the full job description here.

If you love country music from the 90’s and early 2000’s, this show is for you! And be sure to donate to this year’s fund drive to support this show, and community radio in Bellingham, WA!

Fund drive specialty show! Firefly (from The Front Porch) and her special guest Beetle will be spinning some classic rock and hair metal deep cuts from the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s! Join them on the airwaves from 1-3pm PST on Tuesday, May 7th. And support community radio by donating to our fund drive.
