What Makes Us Unique? Read our story below:

Brave Angler Co. was born in the heart of Florida when The Brave Angler "Stevie Ray Brave" started wondering why so many soft plastic baits only came in certain colors. Unable to find his favorite baits in his favorite colors, he decided he would make his own.

Color was not the only thing on his mind. Stevie wanted to make baits with better action and more durability than their large bait manufacturer counterparts. By using hand injectors, low-capacity bait molds, and high-quality plastisol, Stevie realized that quality control was much more effective in producing better quality baits. He discovered that he could maintain control of every aspect of the soft plastic lure creation process using his knowledge of the materials and best practices vs. a computer or animated process.

Stevie and his wife, Caroline Brave, fell in love with the creative aspect of soft plastic lure making. They slowly stopped purchasing soft plastic lures from manufacturers and instead purchased molds of their favorite lures. Soon, their friends and family noticed the baits that Stevie and Caroline were using and wanted some for themselves. Thus, Brave Angler Co. was born.

Today, Stevie and Caroline make every soft plastic lure with the best materials that money can buy. "A fluke is a fluke is a fluke," Stevie says. Meaning that all soft plastic flukes generally do the same thing. "I would never attempt to make anything that I felt that I could not improve on compared to what is already on the market."
