Hi everyone!

Quick update and a few things changing or that you may want to be aware of in the new year:

- We are limiting ourselves to 20 weddings this year. We want to respect each of our couples and make sure we have the time, creative energy, and resources to serve each of our couples to the best of our ability! That being said, we already have 13 weddings In our calendar, so if you are interested in booking with us, feel free to reach out and we can talk about whether we’d be a good fit for you. The only exception to this rule may be ceremony-only weddings. We sometimes will book extra ceremony-only weddings if it fits in our schedule, since the editing for a ceremony film is much more technical than creative.

- If you book with us, you can now login through our website under the client login section to access your invoices, contracts, questionnaires, and any other documents relevant to your client relationship with us. (Email us if you have any problems with login).

- Our down payments will be raising from $300 to $400. This goes toward your total as usual, and this only applies to new clients, all clients who have already booked with us do not need to pay extra to meet the new $400 requirement.

- Our travel terms have updated. We absolutely love to travel! However, gas, time, and hotels are expensive! Any distance under 100 miles is now free, but anything over 100 miles we will begin charging $00.30/mile for all miles of the trip for gas, plus $120 if we need to rent a hotel. Flight costs for out of town weddings we will price individually.

We are so excited to share with you Lizzy and Alex’s film! 🎉🍾🎥
It was a dream to work with both of them, as well as the rest of the individuals on their vendor team.
This edit is late, because it was a creative roller coaster figuring out the best way to retell their story. It can be very challenging to condense the best moments of a wedding day into a short format to allow people to relive the day without spending 3 hours watching all the raw footage! Emily and I did quite a bit of back and forth between music options, and ended up completely redoing entire scenes of the film. Let us know how you think we did!

Excited about this!

We are thrilled to announce that Talley Creek Farms will be opening our doors for weddings and events in April 2024! Our 40 acre rural property and 5,000 square foot Southern home can provide the perfect location for your special day. A wraparound horseshoe pond, spiral staircase, and 6 acre yard are just a few of the features that set Talley Creek Farms apart. We have a lot of work to do to prepare and we look forward to sharing the journey with you! •

We are excited to share with you the new Mr. And Mrs. Rocci’s film!

Thinking back to what we went through to capture this day puts a smile on my face. The sky threatened to rain on us the whole time, Emily staked out under a trash bag with her lens poking through a hole to film the ceremony, we almost couldn’t get to the bridal suite due to the rising water levels, and so much more.

However, despite all of this, Caitlyn and Charlie kept their cool! I know if it had been my wedding, I would probably have been freaking out some, but not them. And because of this, their gentle, beautiful relationship was visible, and we were able to capture their story.

This is also the first film that Emily has played a crucial role in editing! Emily edited scenes of this film herself, as well as finding the music and engineering it into the soundtrack for the film. Overall, we are very pleased with the result.

Hello all!

To all our couples from our spring season, I am sorry it is taking longer than normal to finish your films!

I don't normally do this, but I wanted to take a second to give a general update, and our policy/mindset when it comes to late edits.

In our business, we really like to prioritize quality over quantity. Basically, we want to elevate ourselves and create personalized, unique, inspired wedding films. Many video businesses in this industry like to book as many weddings as they can, turn around the videos as fast as they can (sacrificing creativity) and make as much money as they can. This business model is great for business, but the videos are typically very "cookie cutter" and shallow.

We really don't like this mindset, so we invest a lot of time into our films to make them unique to our couples' stories.
This is why some of our edits are on the edge of being late! Emily and I are very pleased with the way things are going in the editing room, but it definitely takes an investment of time on our part.

All that being said, we hope everyone is having a great summer, and we look forward to completing and sharing your films!
