We were there bright and early as demolition began on the old power plant at the former Belchertown State School. This marks a big step forward for the Carriage Grove redevelopment—turning a piece of our town’s history into something new for our community. The crews are carefully recycling and reclaiming as much material as possible, making this project both respectful of the past and mindful of the environment.

MiraVista Behavioral Health Center was honored to join Kristen Hoag, Director of Belchertown Overcoming Adversity Together (BOAT), on Channel 5 in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month.

Thank you to host, Peg Louraine for facilitating such a thoughtful and meaningful conversation about the importance of timely access to mental health care and how MiraVista’s direct admission process is helping individuals move quickly from crisis to care—without the added burden of a lengthy emergency department experience.

We’re proud to partner with local leaders to raise awareness and expand access to compassionate behavioral health and substance use treatment.
