Hi Everyone! My name is Missy and I live in town with my husband Bryan, 4-year-old daughter Adelyn (Addy), 20-month-old daughter Louisa (Lou Lou), and our goldendoodle, Ollie. I am a former middle school administrator and now Account Manager at a K-12 Adaptive Learning Company. I grew up in the lake’s regions in Wolfeboro, NH and moved to Baltimore, MD for school/work in 2005. We relocated closer to family in Bedford, NH after the birth of our second daughter in 2023. We love the Bedford community and are thrilled to watch our daughters grow-up alongside their cousins.

🚨🚨🚨 We need your help! 🚨🚨🚨

We are looking for volunteers who will serve as Craft & Activity Table Coordinators for Winterfest. This involves planning an activity (or choosing one of the ones listed below), purchasing materials, setting up, and managing a craft or activity and assisting children with their projects as needed).

Here are some ideas! 💡
➡️ Snowball Toss - Set up various buckets at different distances and assign point values based on difficulty. Kids can toss the “snowballs” into the buckets for prizes.
➡️ Ice Fishing - Fill a huge bin with styrofoam packing peanuts and bury prizes within the bin – allow kids to hand fish for a prize.
➡️ Winter-Themed Obstacle Course - Set up a fun obstacle course where kids can “ski” (scoot on their feet), “jump” over “snowdrifts,” and “navigate” through winter-themed challenges.
➡️ Paper Snowflake Craft - Make snowflakes just by folding and cutting white paper or color a snowflake coloring sheet.
➡️ Or you can create your own snow-themed craft, activity or game!

This is a great opportunity for volunteer in the local community! Whether you are a community member looking to get involved more in the town, a small business owner looking to give back to the community (and get your name out there), or a local organization looking to make a positive impact, this role offers a chance to connect with others, share your talents, and contribute to a meaningful experience for children in the community.
