3 lessons I've learned in 3 Years of being in business 💫01. Work Life Balance = Setting Boundaries
After learning (the not-so-easy way 🥴) how important work life balance is to me + my family, I've become extremely committed to setting boundaries for myself when it comes to my work. Now that we're traveling and working remotely, it's a little more complicated but this year my goal is to find my rhythm and stick to it!
02. Never Stop Being Curious
I'm constantly pushing myself to stay up to date with all things social media - from apps, to tools, to trends, to platforms, to policy. You name it, and I'm seeking out everything I can get my hands on. If I've learned anything, it's to be the best in this industry, I have to continue to improve and hone in on my skills and creativity.
03. Self-Doubt is a Dangerous Thing
Of course we've all heard of and the truth is, I totally get it. But, hesitation only slows you down. If you stop to compare yourself to every other person out there doing what you're doing (or something similar), you're only getting in your own way. You're not behind. You're not a failure. You're not a imposter for crying out loud 📣 Focus on moving toward your next goal every single day.
I would love to hear from all you other business owning champs out there! What has been your biggest take away so far from owning your own business?
xoxo- Jess
