Bay Girl Travels to the Big Apple for Times Square Appearance!

Jane James, a second-grader at Normandy Elementary School in Bay Village, traveled to “The Big Apple” last weekend for the NYC Buddy Walk® and to see her photo displayed on the Jumbotron in Times Square!

The Buddy Walk promotes acceptance and inclusion for people with Down Syndrome.

The 18th Annual “Big Splash” Dog Swim at Avon Lake Pool

Saturday was the biggest day of the year for dogs who love to swim! It was the day for the Big Splash at the Avon Lake Municipal pool as hundred of dogs and their owners came out to enjoy the last day of the season and raise funds for the Love-a-Stray Non Profit Rescue organization.
