Watching my branding and identity design kit come to LIFE with my husband's nonprofit, Outdoor Driven Inc, has been rewarding for me in soooo many ways. 🥹 These days it's being used on socials with media management, on their website, ON THE NEWS, flyers, business cards, table runners, large banners, wood engraved signs, keychains, patches, hats, shirts, tumblers, you name it. It's like our passions combined. 𝓐𝓷𝓭 𝓘 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓼𝓮𝓮 𝓲𝓽! 🎨🥰

As we celebrate today, let us remember the incredible sacrifice that Jesus made for us, and the hope that His resurrection offers. Let us also remember the love and grace that God extends to us through his Son and let us all live our lives in a way that honors this incredible gift. 🐰✝️ 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫!

“He received 39 stripes because 40 was known to kill a man.
𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦.
They held handfuls of his beard and hair and pulled it out by the roots.
𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦.
They kicked, punched, and spit on him for hours, until there wasn't a single spot on his body not covered in blood.
𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦.
They shoved a crown of thorns down on his head so harshly it was driven deep into his skin.
𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦.
After hours of being beaten, mocked, whipped, flogged, and tortured they made him walk with a cross. They made him carry it. A heavy and rough cross made of wood with splinters digging into fresh wounds.
𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦.
They wanted him to feel every ounce of pain they could bring.
𝙃𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙪𝙨.

Crucifixion was historically one of the cruelest most tortured deaths a human could face. It lasted for hours upon hours. Torture most of us can not mentally comprehend, because that level of cruelty is not conceivable. We celebrate Easter with pastel colors, happy children hunting eggs, and chocolate. But the ugly truth is that there was absolutely nothing happy about the day Jesus died.

He could have stopped all of it. He could have called upon every angel in heaven to demolish every person standing and shouting "𝘊𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘪𝘧𝘺 𝘏𝘪𝘮!" But he didn't.

He felt everything that day. He felt how your heart broke wide open when you had to watch your baby die. He felt how heavy your life was when you were staring down the barrel of a gun wondering if the man you called husband was going to shoot you. He carried the weight of the burden you have felt since your loved one died. On that cross he held the ra**st and murderers, the sinner and the saint. He leveled every playing field and said ALL of you are worth it. 𝙃𝙚 𝙠𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨.

He never promised the cross you carry in this life would not be heavy. His certainly wasn't. His promise is that Sunday is coming.

No matter how heavy Friday is. Financially, emotionally, mentally, or physically. When that cross is weighing you down and you are about to crumble under its weight, His promise was simply this: He won't make you carry it alone.

What kind of king would step down from his throne for this?
Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God did. For you."

The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ represents the ultimate act of 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 and 𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞. Jesus willingly suffered and died on the cross to atone for the sins of humanity. His crucifixion was brutal and agonizing and the physical pain that he endured was unimaginable; but the emotional and spiritual anguish he experienced was just as real. “𝙀𝙡í, 𝙀𝙡í, 𝙡𝙚𝙢á 𝙨𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙩𝙝á𝙣𝙞?”

Through his sacrifice, Jesus offered a path to redemption and salvation for all who believe in Him. His death paid the price for our sins, and his resurrection demonstrated his power over death and sin. 𝐀𝐬 𝐰𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝'𝐬 LOVE 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 GRACE 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐢𝐭.

𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙄𝙣 𝙃𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 ⌛️

“The paradox of OUR TIME in history…
is that we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers.
Wider freeways, but narrow viewpoints.
We spend more but have less.
We buy more but enjoy less.
We have bigger houses, but smaller families.
More conveniences, but less time.
More degrees, but less sense.
More knowledge, but less judgement.
More experts, but more problems.
More medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly… and laugh too little.
We drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired… and read God’s word too little.
We watch TV too much and pray too seldom.
We’ve learned how to make a living, but not a life.
We’ve added years to life, but not life to years.

We’ve been all the way around the world and back, but we have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor.
We’ve conquered outer space, but not inner space.
We’ve cleaned up the air but have polluted the soul.
We’ve conquered the atom, but not our pre-justice.
We write more but learn less.
We plan more but accomplish less.
We learn to rush, but not to wait.

We’ve built more computers to hold more information and to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.
These are the times of fast food and slow digestion.
Big men, but small character.
Steep profits, but shallow relationships.
These are the days of two incomes, yet more divorces.
Fancier houses, but broken homes.
These are the days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throw away morality, one-night stands and pills that can do everything from cheer to quiet tequila.
It’s a time when there’s much in the showroom window but nothing in the stockroom.

It’s a time when technology can bring you this message…
A time when you can either choose to share this insight, or just scroll past it.

So just remember to spend some time with your loved ones, because they won’t be around forever.

Remember to say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person will soon grow up and leave your side.

Remember to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that’s one treasure you can give from your heart that doesn’t cost you a cent.

Remember to say I love you to your partner, to your loved ones… but most of all, when you say it, mean it.

A kiss and embrace will mend a hurt if it comes from deep down inside of you. So remember to hold hands and cherish the moment, because someday that person won’t be there.
