Chanting "Protect the right to read" and "ban liars and crooks, not books", the RISE Corp. Children's Defense Fund Freedom School joined a national Day of Action today to protect their freedom to read any book and protested the banning of books. Willard Library has not banned any books, said RISE Director Damon Brown, adding that it was only a symbolic location for the action. See more in a future Shopper News.
