225 is a monthly lifestyle magazine that covers the people, places, food, events and arts and culture that make Baton Rouge such a unique, special place to live.
New issues of 225 are released 12 times per year, along with two annual 225 Extra publications, Spaces & Places (published each spring) and Menu Guide (released each fall). It is a free publication, available to all those in the 225 region.
Since its 2005 launch, the magazine’s mission has been to help Baton Rougeans explore, discover and connect on a deeper level with their community.
Turn the pages of a typical issue of 225, and you’ll find content as varied as a review on that new restaurant you’ve been dying to try, coverage of local trends like food subscription boxes and crystals and herbs, profiles digging inside the minds of local athletes, interviews with local bands and artists, visually driven photo essays and style shoots, and in-depth coverage of people making our city a better place.

Best of 225 This Week is published Thursday mornings, highlighting events for the weekend and the upcoming week, new restaurants/shops/businesses to check out, and Q&As with key figures from the local events scene.
