🌟Geaux Create: What inspired you to start creating content in Baton Rouge, and how did you find your unique voice?
🎤Ayana & India: Our inspiration came from the creatives we met when we moved to Baton Rouge. We discovered LAShift on Instagram, and it became a space for us to connect and express ourselves. Through events, we formed lasting friendships and a supportive sisterhood that helped us find our voices and grow together.

🌟Geaux Create: Can you tell us about a project or piece of content you’re especially proud of, and why?

🎤Ayana & India:We’re proud of the community space we’ve created with our best friend bond. Through LAShift, we started hosting events that empower and support creatives. This year, we plan to expand by promoting our brand and even starting a nonprofit.

🌟Geaux Create: What’s one thing you wish more people understood about the creative process or the work you do?
🎤Ayana & India:We wish people understood that building something meaningful takes time, patience, and genuine connections. Success comes from showing up with good intentions, not just talent. Our work, whether through events or collaborations, comes from a place of love and growth.

🌟Geaux Create: How do you see the future of your work, and what can we expect next?
🎤Ayana & India:We’re excited to take our events to the next level, hosting monthly gatherings and expanding our reach. We also plan to create more opportunities for growth and empowerment, and launch a nonprofit to make a lasting impact in Baton Rouge.
