To our amazing creative community,

At Geaux Create Studios, we are passionate about providing a welcoming, inspiring space for all who come through our doors. We strive to offer an environment where everyone feels free to create while respecting the space and each other.

Recently, we encountered an issue with a client who left our studio in disarray after a session. This was the first time anyone has ever left our space in such a state, and it was extremely disheartening. While we work hard to accommodate everyone’s needs, we also have guidelines in place to ensure the space remains ready for each client. This includes resetting the studio to its original setup after use—a standard we ask all our clients to follow. The client has since paid the necessary reorganizing fee, and we’re moving forward with positive energy.

At Geaux Create, we stand firm in our values and believe that advocating for yourself is key to protecting the integrity of your work. Sometimes, that means standing 10 toes down for what you know is right and having the courage to set boundaries no matter who it may offend. Our commitment to upholding respect, empowerment, and transparency in our studio remains unwavering, and we encourage everyone to embrace these values in their own lives and work.

A historic moment unfolded for Baton Rouge’s creative community on October 23rd, as the city recognized Geaux Create Foundation founder Marian for her dedication and leadership in fostering creativity and community through the Geaux Create Awards and officially proclaimed October 20th Geaux Create Day. In a powerful tribute to the city's thriving artistic landscape, several local creatives were also recognized and honored for their outstanding contributions to Baton Rouge's rich cultural tapestry.

Marian had the privilege of personally presenting these prestigious awards during a city council meeting, marking a significant milestone for Baton Rouge's artistic community.

This achievement is monumental for Baton Rouge’s creatives, but it’s just the beginning of a new chapter in the city's creative journey.

DEVAN!!!! YOU DID SO AMAZING!!! SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!

I had so much fun last night at the first ever Geaux Create Awards in Baton Rouge and am so honored they asked me to help photograph their event. Everyone looked stunning and all the performers did amazing! I also met a ton of other great photographers and videographers and look forward to hopefully being able to collaborate with them in the future.
