Yesterday, I learned that one of our actresses that is set to be featured in ASPIRE was on Bourbon Street last night for New Year’s Eve, where a pickup truck driver drove recklessly throughout that street. The driver killed 15 people and left several others injured. She was at the site of the incident during the night, but she did leave that spot minutes before it actually took place. While I am grateful to learn that she avoided being a victim, like many others, I do mourn those that weren’t so lucky. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by this tragedy.
