Welcome to June friends. We are so sorry to say that our June issue is running two weeks behind. Our printer had a major breakdown and is waiting on parts to come in to get the presses back up and running. We apologize for the delay but it is out of our hands at this point. The cover is the famous train at the Kiddie Park, and when you see this you know summer is upon us. Remember also that the last train ride is always free. The first 50 entries will be pictured in the July issue of bmonthly, and the Judge's Choice winner will be featured as the cover. The Judge's Choice winner will also receive a $100, gift certificate to Lollipops Woodfire & Grocery

A Testimony of Hope

In September of last year, our Pastor Joe Dawn Marie Colaw of First Wesleyan Church Bartlesville asked us if we would do a video of our testimony to then later be played at the Christmas Eve Service. Christy and I agreed and in the month of October, we started to film this powerful message. We began filming the same week that we lost our son Tyler 13 years before. We filmed for 3 hours. Nathan Perkins would ask us questions separately and then together. It was a very emotional 3 hours. After filming he spent over 2 months editing this video. "Testimony of Hope", was the first time Christy has ever spoken publically about Keith's cocaine addiction and the loss of her firstborn son Tyler. We pray that this video will bring Hope to the Hopeless, Love to the lost, restore marriages, and for all to see another example of how God is for you. If you know anyone who needs encouragement and a reminder to never give up, we ask that you please share. God bless!

Our Story

Our story begins in 1985, when Christy and I became high school sweethearts. After graduation, we took different paths, but eighteen years later, we combined our six kids and had one of our own. Our story is one of love, hope, compassion, and the belief that anything is possible with God.

Our roots run deep in this part of Oklahoma. Christy’s great-grandfather moved to the area in 1904 and my grandparents moved here in 1937. We love this community and think it is “The Greatest Little City in America!” We are proud to have our office in the historic Price Tower overlooking downtown Bartlesville.

Beyond our faith, family and friends, bMonthly is our passion. Our goal each month is to produce the highest-quality city magazine in the state. We welcome advertisers who share our vision to highlight the current, historical, and philanthropic elements that together make this city like no other.
