Our Story
This is the official page for FMV Publishing and Services, founded in 2015. We are a Chapter of Café 41:11, a nonprofit organization. In 2018, FMV Publishing and Services became a registered trade name in the state of Ohio. Around the same time, Josh Bechtel, founder of FMV, became president and editor in chief of Lighthouse Publications, LLC, an endeavor founded by the late Greg Streator of Massilon, Ohio. Finding My Voice Publishing and Services is a registered trade name of Lighthouse Publications, LLC.
Our founder, Josh Bechtel, is a wordsmith and calls himself an “artist with words.”
Josh Bechtel, founder and President of FMV Publishing and Services, also serves as Editor in Chief and President of Lighthouse Publications, LLC. FMV exists to publish and help others voice their visions, dreams and stories through poetry, art, and other creative writing, including fiction and nonfiction.
Josh's first self-published work was a memoir detailing his experiences as a foster and adopted child. This memoir, published in 2012 but currently discontinued, also details his spiritual journey. The title, Finding My Voice, A Journey into Faith, was the inspiration for the business name FMV.
