Sharing some cuties that bring me joy.

My wife Shellie believes in me an insane amount. She supports me in my career journeys and lends a helping hand in any way she can. We've been together for just about 12 years now and married for 7.

Dean is my bestie's baby, my nephew, and a soon-to-be big brother. He likes screaming back and forth with me, squishing his food in his hands, and has permanently filled a little empty space in my heart.

Happy Friday! I hope you're surrounding yourself with people who bring you joy, too. 🥰

If your content doesn't address pain points or answer questions, you're missing a huge opportunity.

When you're shopping for a vacuum, you want to know about the warranty, the charge life, and whether you can return it.

You should do the same thing with your products or services.

Statistics show that generic holiday posts, don't perform.

If you see a portfolio for a social media manager and their graphics read "Happy Labor Day" — run.

I'm not kidding.

It might be a 'hot take' but these are just shown to be loser posts. There are other ways to celebrate holidays without giving clients a 'filler' post.

I've seen so many videos lately that are promising businesses unrealistic things.

🚩"HOW I GOT 100 FOLLOWERS IN ONE DAY"

🚩"COMMENT 'X' TO GET MY STRATEGY TO GET 1000 NEW FOLLOWERS THIS MONTH"

A quality social media manager will help you come up with achievable goals.

So, today's tip when looking for a new social media manager is to ask, "What are some goals you set for your clients?"

If they don't make goals for their clients - run.
If the goals are all follower based - run.

It's not meant to sound catty; it's meant to be REALISTIC.

If you're looking to hire a social media manager and want fast, quick growth, I won't take you on as a client.

The truth is, algorithms constantly change, people's spending habits ebb and flow, and the amount of time people spend on social media does too!

I'm talking more about HOW TO SPOT a quality social media manager (regardless of price) this month; here's tip number one.

If they promise you FAST + MASSIVE growth, run. 👋

For most of us, that's a highly unrealistic expectation.

One thing I've realized is that because we hear about and see 'viral' content — we think that's a normal expectation.

But it isn't.

Focus on the QUALITY of followers you have.

Nurture those relationships and make them convert instead of trying to mass appeal to people who may never purchase from you.

Followers will come and go; customers will stay.

Fridays are for my feral friends.

This weekend, we're celebrating Mabon, the autumn equinox. At this time, darkness (night) and light (day) are equal.

My suggestion if you want to celebrate the autumn equinox is:

🍁 Bake something fall-inspired - think pumpkin bread, apple pie, etc.
🍁 Turn on Lana Del Rey's 'Season of The Witch' and dance around your house.
🍁 Light some cozy candles.
🍁 Start putting up your fall decor!
