If I can't read your website, I'm clicking away faster than you can say 'bounce rate'!

Here's the brutal truth: I see SO many beautiful websites that are completely unreadable because someone chose 'aesthetic' over accessibility.

Your website needs to work for EVERYONE - including the 1 in 12 people with color vision differences, people using screen readers, folks with dyslexia, and literally anyone trying to read your content on a sunny day! 📱☀️

Let's talk about the elephant in the room 🐘

Politics and business social media - it's messy, it's complicated, and everyone has an opinion about how you should handle it.

Here's my take: There's no one-size-fits-all approach. Some businesses thrive by taking strong stances, others build loyal communities by staying focused on their expertise.

But whatever you do, don't let fear of judgment stop you from being authentic to your brand.

Taking breaks from social media is ok!

But take some advice that I didn't do for myself when life and business had me overwhelmed.

Don't completely stop posting.

Schedule out two posts a week, something, anything that tells the algorithm you're still here.

When a new client asks me how long it will take to see traction and they posted 2 times in the last month, I'm immediately reluctant to answer. It's HARD to get social media to trust you again.

Take a picture of your dog, your computer, whatever you can, and stay present in a tiny way.
