IN DEPTH SPECIAL EFFECTS LOOK! A lot of time and detail work goes into many of the shots, as is the case in the opening shot of the film. As you can see, the original footage, although holding massive potential, is a bit flat. Adding the camera movement in post serves two purposes: First, it allows me to add in the 3D effects onto a stable background, giving me much more control over the image while editing. Second, leaving the assets (snow, horse, man) in the foreground along with the background shot all completely stable, the very flat and artificial vibe is still there. Adding the camera movement cements the assets into the enviroment in a way that makes it seem like a cinematographer was actually standing in the cold weather filming everything! . . . #film #supportindiefilm #cinematography #blackmagic #adobepremiere

This is our short documentary film, ‘Angels on the Fourth: Break Skin’ in its entirety. A five piece local rock band prepare for a massive show. This documentary serves as a close-up gilmpse into the dynamics of the group. After spending several weeks with the band, going to shows and practice, conducting an interview, gathering footage, and just generally rocking out, I was able to put together a solid rock doc about my brother's band.
