આ ગિફ્ટ સિટીથી તો ખાલી નાન્લા પોયરાઓ ખુશ થાય… મારા અને જેવા લીજેન્ડ તો ત્યારે ખુશ થાય જયારે પોરબંદરમાં મોહનદાસના ઘરને ઓટલે બિયરની બાટલી ખુલે અને પીતા પહેલા બાજુમાં પડેલા ગોડસેજી ના ફોટોની પાસે બીયરના છાંટા કરે.

ભારત પાકિસ્તાનમાં ઇસ્લામ પાછળ ધર્માંધ લોકો કેમ બૌદ્ધિક રીતે પછાત છે એનું કારણ કહું તો એ આખા વર્ગને કાંઈ નવું કાંઈ સૂઝતું નથી. વર્ષોના વર્ષો વીતી જાય પણ પછાત રહેવાનું એ કારણ ખબર નહિ પડે કે ભક્તિ અમુક માત્રામાં કરવાની અને જગત સાથે Move On કરવાનું.

RCB ફેન્સ એટલે ડિરેક્ટલી કોહલી ફેન્સ જ... કોહલીને પસંદગીની ટિમ મળે, દરેક મેચમા સિલેક્શન કરવાની છૂટ મળે એ છતાં પણ એકવાર પણ કપ નહિ જીતે એનું કારણ શું? કારણ કોહલી પોતે... એકાદ મેચ સિવાય એકપણ મેચમાં એણે 35 થી ઓછી બોલ્સમાં હાફ સેન્ચુરી મારી નથી. હવે ફેન્સ એવું વિચારે કે T20માં ત્રીજા ક્રમે પણ સ્ટેબલ બેટિંગ કરી બીજાને સ્કોર બનાવવાનો ચાન્સ આપવો તો પછી આ પાકિસ્તાની બાંડીયા અને તમારા વચ્ચે… આ ફોટો એ લોકો માટે જ મુક્યો છે કે જે એવું વિચારે છે કે કોહલી સિવાય ભારતનો ઉદ્ધાર નથી.

નોંધ: કોહલીના ભૂતકાળના ક્લાસ માટે મને કોઈ શંકા નથી પણ વર્તમાનમાં હવે એની ઔકાત નથી રહી કે આવીને ધનાધન કરે. ભારતની અંડર 19 ટીમના કોચની ભૂમિકા એના માટે બેસ્ટ રહેશે એમાં પણ મને કોઈ શંકા નથી.
