Theeee only reaction I wanna see in 2024💅🏾😘
Now we gonna ignore the ridiculousness that is the hair she asked me to leave out(ain’t no baby in them hairs). I’m an old school braider. I believe in braiding your thoughts. 😭🤣🤣 but I’m trying to adopt new techniques lol
However, I’m so excited to finally check this braid design off on my resume ✨🥰

✨Back to school✨ can be such an intimidating time of the year for parents! A great way to get over that intimidation is by letting your child decide how they want their hair for the incoming year. To me it grounds them and let’s them feel more in control of their outcomes.
Here’s a video of me installing French Curl Braids on my daughter. Last year we kept things age appropriate for back to school and this year is no different. She’s older now so I’m allowing her to get styles that I feel fit her level of maturity. She has affectionately named these her “buss down” braids because she feels like she has a weave due to the style of the loose curls.
Let me know in the comments if you have any questions and what you think of the style ✨✨❤️
Should I add this style to my booking?

This season of my life is called, fiscally responsible ✨💕 Don’t get me wrong when it’s time to treat my self to some individual lashes, imma do it because that’s my business. But Christmas was last month so even though I had “get somebody else to do it” energy with my locs and brows…these lashes coming from @amazon 🤣🤣🤣If you’re like me, applying lashes can be a task & a half so once I saw a few makeup artists doing this technique..I found what works for me. I know the other trend with blinking onto lashes is becoming popular but it’s something about lashes under my natural lashes that just doesn’t sit right with me 🤨So hopefully seeing this video will help you to do a little self care in this season just for you even if your funds aren’t where you need them to be for a trip to get them done ✨•••••••••Shop my Amazon storefront for these lashes ✨💕#lashapplication #makeuptips #selfcare #tipsandtricks #baltimore #beautyvlogger
✨This loc life is not for the weak✨Don’t get me wrong there was an overwhelming amount of support when I first loc’d my hair, but truthfully there was great deal of ridicule and doubt I encountered as well. 2017 was literally buss down era and I was choosing to forgo the weaves to live out my life long dream to be Lauryn Hill/Lisa Bonet/ErykahBadu Fee. 🤣🤣 People who were supposed to loc their hair with me either completely bowed out and never committed or committed and then combed them out. 👀🥹 Heck I even doubted myself a few times. But whether it’s another person or myself that questions my choice…the moment I look at pictures from my journey I’m reminded of my why. I locked my hair as an outward expression of locking down on my life and gaining a sense of control of ME. Since locking my hair, I became full-time park ranger, started my business, had a second child, got married and I’ve gotten back to traveling. I may not have all the desires of my heart but I’m certainly a different person than I was when I started my journey. I know my true beauty comes from within now more than I ever have in my life because one thing for sure loc’ing your hair will challenge every misconception you have about what beauty is. Your hair literally goes on a journey that you cannot control and transforms day after day, month after month, year after year. Loc’ing my hair wasn’t a trend or fad. I needed to do some real work on me and I’ve been doing just that. Have I convinced you to loc your mane yet!??•••••••#locs #locjourney #womenwithlocs #locbae #dmv #hairmodel #openforcommissions
