Many of us in the area are going to be impacted by the transformation that Micron is bringing to the region, so it's great that the Rotary Club of Dewitt, NY is opening this up to guests. I hope folks who are interested will be there. I will be!

If you are from the southern tier, then you know Kampai. I always wanted my name on the sign for my birthday, but I never got to have a hibachi birthday party. On my 41st birthday. I finally get my name on the sign thanks to PDG Richard, who owns the restaurant and I now know through Rotary. Such a special and thoughtful gesture, arranged by several Rotarians! Really, truly made an awesome day even more awesome. I will be showing this photo to everyone I know! ♥️🙏🏻🥰

Auburn Rotary was sweet enough to sing to me and light some candles in my pancakes at their breakfast this past Sunday. Now it’s officially the big day and I’m off for some spa time with my besties (minus my sister). Then later we vote! Please get out and vote today if you haven’t already - that is your voice and your duty 💙

My club’s charter night celebration was one for the memory book, for sure! We had ANOTHER surprise husband joining Rotary - this time Sally’s hubby Pete surprised her, his mother in law, and my husband (his good buddy). We also welcomed new member Jeanette, celebrated our club’s past with tales from a charter member, and got exciting news about future leadership. Love my club and our Rotary family! Great job to the planning committee, our hosts at The Wood, and President Katie for her vision. 💙💛

So proud of my club for making this happen and to my good friend and sponsor to join Rotary, Sally Fedrizzi, for making her vision come to life!

Oh what a beautiful morning in Baldwinsville.

Shortly after this photo was taken, a woman and her dog arrived to look through the binoculars donated by Baldwinsville Rotary and installed by the Village of Baldwinsville DPW. We talked about how wonderful of a gift it is to our community!

The binocular station is located on the Sergi Yevich trail on the north side of the river, behind WT Brews.

Today is - where we celebrate the progress we’ve made towards eradication, talk about the path to completely erasing this disease from the planet, educate our communities that this is an achievable goal and why it matters to everyone, and raise money. For many years, this gentleman, Randy with Sauquoit Rotary, has been a consummate advocate for this international service project that Rotarians around the world support. Randy is now our End Polio Now Chair at the zone level and brings his passion for eradication everywhere he goes. We got to honor the day earlier this week at my club’s event and I will be with him raising more money for this cause next Tuesday, at the official visit to Areas 2 & 3. We support you and will all be part of this gift to the world to ensure no child ever suffers from this disease again! ♥️💜💛

I was the Old Maid three times tonight, at the Area 1 visit in Little Falls. We had a nice dinner, with games at each table, and raffles to raise money to end polio. A fun time, even for this Old Maid 😆😉
