Ooh I love that bit about owning traditions! I do love many traditions, in life and in Rotary, but I’ve always felt it’s healthier to be willing to modify them or even do away with them if it’s what is best for you. Have to make room for the new too!

Growth doesn’t happen by chance—it starts when we challenge the status quo, stay connected to our communities, and offer real value. Innovation isn’t about abandoning the past; it’s about evolving to stay relevant while honoring our roots.

Here are a few key takeaways from my annual keynote address during Rotary International Assembly:

After 7+ years in this house, I’m finally hanging some things on the walls. Some of these wall spaces are really big, so I am intimidated and don’t want something to look silly or too small. Had a coupon for these large prints and couldn’t resist. I love showcasing my little loves like this! Got them done at and they were so easy to hang up. Def recommend 🤩

I want to apologize to everyone for this pesky winter, after many years of mild, less snowy seasons. Because I am President of CNY Rotary this year, with lots of travel around the state on my calendar, and I am a sissy about driving in bad weather, I knew we would be in for it. Kind of like when you put your snow brush away in April and we get a fluke storm, just know that I am the jinx. I hope everyone at least finds it pretty to look at! 🤦🏼‍♀️❄️💙

It’s my Canvaversary! Nine years - wow! I know Rotary doesn’t condone using it because people who aren’t well versed in branding can so easily break our brand rules with the tools it offers, but when used properly it is truly a gem. I use it in everything I do, for all my graphics, and all my custom designs. I only use it for good 🙌🏻
