Born Tim Smith on 8 September 1994 in Ayrshire, New Direction began remixing an

d producing tracks in Jack Goodwins own bedroom at the age of 18. "Growing up with older siblings, I've also had loads of different influences when it comes to my music taste such as DJ Boonie and Dj Rankin. There are loads of other people that have influenced me but I think the biggest inspirations I've had aside from my favourite band Swedish House Mafia is our parents, helping us become what we have always have always wanted to become.
