This morning, our scholarship committee reviewed submissions for our 2025 Music Note Endowment Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded annually and is funded by the tuition paid from the Community Choir and the Handbell Choir as well as donations that are taken up at our concerts. The funds are divided into two accounts. One account is for a college scholarship that is awarded to a student who is majoring in the arts. The second is to help provide lessons for those less fortunate that may not be able to afford lessons otherwise. We are very pleased to announce that this year 2025 Music Note Endowment College Scholarship has been awarded to Sienna Schwartz. The award will be given on June 1 at our concert. Congratulations, Sienna!

We are so proud of you, Zaiden!!!

This talented young man will be singing The Star Spangled Banner at our March 15th “Bruno Forever” event in Ross Twp.

Zaiden George from Pittsburgh is currently a 7th grade student at Northgate Middle School. He has studied vocals at The Music Note for about 3 years and has been part of many local musicals and vocal performances.

Why take lessons at The Music Note? Our students receive awards and recognition for their musical studies. Students have been accepted into honor bands and orchestras. Our singers have won international competitions, been featured in PMEA district choirs, win roles in school and professional musical scenes. Plus, we haveca scholarship program to help students who want to continue in the arts.

What experience do your teachers have? All of our teachers have advanced degrees in music performance or education. All of our teachers actively perform in the community. They actively perform in symphonies/orchestras, opera and musical theater companies, churches, solo recitals… you make it, our teachers do it. We can help students work and begin a career in music if that is what their desire is. If you’re just wanting to learn how to play as a hobby, we can get you started doing that too!

Are there performance opportunities? Yes! We have multiple recitals and concerts each quarter.

Send me a one page essay, explaining how music or the arts have changed your life. The essay also needs to stay where you will be going to school and how you will use the scholarship funds. Please make sure the head includes your name and cumulative GPA.,
