The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) has introduced a new policy called "Multiple Listing Options for Sellers," effective March 25, 2025. This policy complements the existing Clear Cooperation Policy (CCP) and offers sellers more flexibility in marketing their properties. A key feature is the introduction of "delayed marketing exempt listings," which allow sellers to delay the marketing of a property via Internet Data Exchange (IDX) and syndication for a set period. During this delay, listings are still accessible to MLS participants, but public marketing is restricted. Sellers must provide signed consent for this exemption.

The policy aims to balance giving sellers more marketing options while ensuring equal access to property information for buyers. It requires implementation by September 30, 2025. For more details email me: [email protected]
