A publication of the Center for Editing Excellence. The Southwest Journalist is in its 14th year of production.

The Southwest Journalist is a teaching publication of the Dow Jones News Fund and the Center for Editing Excellence at The University of Texas at Austin. The Southwest Journalist is edited and designed by students attending the pre-internship training program funded by a grant from the News Fund and news organizations hosting the interns.
