¡ATENCIÓN LASA Raptors!

Each year, the Spanish 6 class puts on a show for the LASA community, and this year is no different. The annual Noche de Las Estrellas show is scheduled for April 30, so mark your calendars! This performance will feature artists from Celia Cruz to Prince Royce and cover music genres like bachata, reggaeton, salsa, and more!

In years past, the big show would take place in the theater, where the Spanish 6 class would regularly come in to rehearse. In fact, last year’s Spanish 6 class had prepared all year for the show until a virus caused the world to pause. Having adjusted to the pandemic, Mr. Ramirez’s Spanish 6 class is currently getting ready for this year’s Noche de Las Estrellas, using time in-class and outside of class to record music videos, plan interactive games for the day of the event, create a trailer, and edit the final video premiere. With Noche being virtual this year, there’s been many challenges with filming and, of course, advertising. However, we hope to have a big *virtual* crowd this year at one of LASA’s biggest traditions!

To keep up with them as they document their experience, be sure to follow them on Instagram (), Facebook ( de Las Estrellas), and TikTok (). For the most up-to-date information about Noche de Las Estrellas, please visit this website: lasanoche.com
