We invite you to preview our new 30-minute documentary, The Inevitable Evolution of Fort Frederick. What began as a poorly designed and built colonial fort made of tabby became the site of a monumental event in our nation's history - the first reading of the Emancipation Proclamation in the Confederate States.

More than a year in production, there were so many collaborators that I hope you'll review the credits at the end. We were so fortunate to interview leading experts on the wide range of issues surrounding the fort's surprising history. Our sincere thanks to all involved.

Four shorter versions were edited from nearly 17 hours of raw footage to create modules about the fort's history, archaeology, tabby restoration and public outreach efforts for use by teachers and the general public. Teachers will be pleased to know that our client, the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, has developed curriculum to accompany these programs.
